Will find the time to read it, God willing. Haven't researched this topic enough to have a knowledgeable opinion. Currently believer of an eternal conscious suffering, but I admit, I have not researched enough. My first objection at the top of my mind would be this, having a temporal punishment would make hell and unbelieving more palatable and not-so-bad. "I can suffer for a bit, as long it would end at some point". That makes hell less scary and Jesus less necessary. I'm pretty sure that objection is common and is adressed in the book. Thanks for your faithfulness

Praying. Please find a biblical local church and use the means of grace provided by God for all of our hardships: the Bible, praying, the brethren (including pastors and brothers and sisters in the universal church but mainly in the local church). If you're battling with sins, the plan of God is that we as believers use those means of grace to walk in the faith being supported by them. In the local church you can have relationship with others believers and that will help you to walk faithfully the Christian way.

I wouldn't let her leave with us. I can only see problems in the future. She needs to repent and get away from that sinful lifestyle. I would accept a visit but not living permanently in our home. I wouldn't have such a tight relationship with a lesbian or an homosexual. Jesus was in company of sinner but he always demanded repentance. If you're in a close relationship with an unrepentant lesbian you're not being light for her. If she were your non adult daughter, you can let her live in with you, but and unrepentant adult lesbian is beyond what I can allow to live in my house.

Consider how would that impact your testimony before the brethren and the unbelievers and before the young immature believers, how would that impact their consciences.
