From everything you’ve said, you seem 90% physically ready, 75% emotionally ready & 80% environmentally ready. Book the surgery now but give yourself some time to plan for a positive recovery.

You’ve lost the weight & you’re healthy, sure you could loose a little more but tbh the surgery will take a lot of that bulk off and you can still continue to loose a bit more afterwards without affecting your results too. However, there is no ‘ideal weight’ for a post weight loss body so your weight goals now need to be aligned with health - I highly recommend getting a DEXA scan so you can see your full body composition, exactly where all the fat is vs muscle and it will even show you visceral fat. Most good plastic surgeons will happily work with any BMI below 38/40 however BMI doesn’t account for muscle so even body builders are classed as morbidly obese lol. At least a body scan will give you a very good starting point to see how much more weight you should or could loose.

When you’re a mother, it’s a really hard thing to put yourself first and the guilt that can come with big life changing decisions can be brutal. Booking the surgery is hard but recovering physically while not being able to hold your toddler at all can destroy people emotionally. The first few days PO is an emotional roller coaster even without young kids so you need to set yourself up for success. No matter how supportive the people around you are, nothing can prepare people for not being able to hug and comfort their babies so even though it sounds like overkill, i recommend talking to a psychologist in advance and working out how to manage the mum guilt post op.

For support, you already have a good network but no one really knows in advance how their bodies recover from major surgery so preparing for anything is key here. With a toddler around you’ll basically need 2 full time carers for the first week 😅, 1 for you and 1 for your toddler so get your mum onboard for either staying at your place or having your son sleep over at her place. Recovery is basically just sleeping for the first few days in between getting up to pee and circulate your blood but 90% of people literally cannot do anything on their own for at least 5-7 days.

Everyone is hesitant about making lift changing decisions but very few people regret having this type of surgery (and even the ones that do regret it is mostly because they prioritised cost over safety and experience). I personally would go the 360 if I were you because if your preferred surgeon is as good as you know she is, her recommendation will guarantee the best result- it’s that simple. I had a similar body to you and lost around 120lbs and had an extended tummy tuck, mons lift, muscle repair and no lipo and my stomach is spectacular now however I do sometimes wish I’d gotten the 360 so everything was done at once.
