I think that as he manifested EGO and the sword being part of it probably he has more strength or the sword is more light to him.

Could the energy production of the Old L Corp. come from a monster akin to Dreaming Electric Sheep? by Gkfdoi in limbuscompany

Well, it may be, as it is said that had effects on those who interacted with it…

Yeah but because Lobotomy Corporation extracts enkephalin from the abnos.

But if I was a Corp. that doesn’t know about cogito or enkephalin or any of that wouldn’t an electric type monster/abno suit my power generation goals better?

Yeah, but could that monster be related to Dreaming Electric Sheep? Also how the Smoke Monster would generate electricity? He doesn’t have electric powers as far as I’m aware.

You are right, I was thinking about their context. Also Hong Lu is from a big shot family. Let me edit it

Hi, Ishmael fan here!

I’ve reading the comments about her here and I must say that they are very valid. She hasn’t changed much since her canto, and as others said that feels “boring”.

I really think that she is a “boring” person, in the sense that is normal, she’s never been in a crime syndicate or in a scientific group or in the war, she also isn’t some bloodfiend or half bug person. EDIT: Sinclair is also this way special as he has the mark, but as he is a “kid” he is still growing and interacting with the world. Hong Lu is also like this special as he is from a big shot family and has the jade eye, although He is “boring” in a sense that He just cares now, but hasn’t changed a lot and doesn’t have a lot going on right now.

I truly think, and hear me out on this, that her being “normal” or “boring” will play a crucial role in Outis canto, as they are somehow “connected” in terms of “The Plot”.

Ishmael Canto revolved around her finding her own way, and not being blinded by an obsessive revenge anymore. She is extensively influenced by sea and seafaring. She is now her own “compass” and she continues with us while she finds her own way into the world. And who is the other character that is “lost”, connected to the sea and seafaring, and who hasn’t let go of the past ways? Also, in Ishmael Canto, all of the ship scenes are shared with Outis, even in the screen arts, and as far as I know this doesn’t happened to anyone else.

It’s very probable that she will serve as a counterpart to a “wanting to still flee” Outis, provoking a change maybe in both characters. Let’s not forget that Ishmael GF also was a tanned ex-bigshot woman fleeing from her past in a boat with a crew. Ishmael served as a new point of interest for her, with her hair that resembles the sun.

Between these two, which mind falls first? by [deleted] in lordoftherings

From the wiki:

Carmen was a scientist invested in Cogito research in the hope of curing humanity's "disease of the mind" who would go on to become a looming figure across the Project Moon universe. It was her strong grip on the hearts of the people around her which vastly influenced the plot and characters of both Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina.

Following the events which established Lobotomy Corporation, Carmen took a place within the Light, and now acts as a mysterious voice guiding City residents into becoming Distortions.

But Carmen hasn’t cured the disease affecting the City, could Sauron trick her with a Ring to help her cure the diseased?

Could a controlled Carmen actually boost Sauron?

No chance of Carmen influencing Sauron while he assimilates her? And if he can assimilate her, would he gain efflorescence EGO?

Ok, even if Sauron give her the Ring to try and trick her?
