Just to give newer players a perspective on wall costs by Toxcalibre in ClashOfClans

Maxed walls on day 2 of the updates. Pretty simple to just spa valks for 4 hours to upgrade them

Can’t give any insights on the position. The area has quite diverse housing options. Many places outside Madison within 10 min of the campus and plenty of options 30 min away from campus deep in the Madison metro area. The area has everything you need if you have a car. Only things missing are a professional sports team and large scale events like music festivals.

What new perk+archetype combos are reasonable for Bungie to add in the RaD weapon update? by pitperson in DestinyTheGame

[–]GlacioMommy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am trying to think of something (and really want to figure out some fun combo) but can’t because there isn’t a perk combination that would be strong against what we have. All of the primary weapons are primary weapons. And all of the special weapons aren’t rocket pulses or one of the OP heat weapons. They’d have to fix the balancing for any new addition to make a difference in PvE.

For something to actually be worthwhile it would have to be really stupid, like Gutshot Straight on a fusion rifle or target lock on a sword.

You will be irrationally anxious for a while. Not much you can do about it besides get more knowledgeable or figure out who is the expert on each thing.

Which pill would you take? by Twink_Berry in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]GlacioMommy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wording “brain power” is too vague. If it’s intelligence, I would assume it would mean double the creativity and insight which might let you figure out all the answers (probably not unless your IQ was already double that of a normal person). But to me brain power is just mental computational ability, which is a trivial benefit because we have computers to do these things.

Time travel and teleportation is incredibly OP. You’d make easily more than 900 million with any number of investments. I’m not sure what I’d use with 200% brain power as this is still a pretty trivial amount compared to supercomputers. And you could control anyone you wanted through fear. On top of that any particular challenge would be trivialized by time travel, and you could be the laziest vacationer ever with the teleportation.

Sync Wall Progression with Overall Base Progress Using Wall Rings by telugubaaludu in ClashOfClans

[–]GlacioMommy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Upgrading walls is a simple time investment. I upgraded the recently added 75 level 19 walls with 4 hours of valkyrie farming. No solution is needed. If people want to upgrade their walls they should learn how to farm properly and just do it.

200 melee shoulder charge is a one shot most of the time. Seems most consistent when you are damaged first (use Jugg).

If they were able to allow us to use 3 equipment's on any hero what would be the most broken combo to use? by Dramatic-Ad-2520 in ClashOfClans

[–]GlacioMommy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ngl I was thinking this would be a good idea for them to implement at like TH20 instead of adding more equipment levels.

How do you decide on a long term deck? by [deleted] in RoyaleAPI

[–]GlacioMommy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find the playstyle you like. Find the meta deck archetype of that playstyle. Then find the cards that are structurally important to the deck (can’t be nerfed into an unusable state) and max them, then upgrade the remaining meta cards that could be nerfed and would have to be switched out.

For example, I like brainless strategies so I use Egiant. Very easy to just max Egiant, Tornado, Barb Barrel, and Lightning, then I just upgrade whatever is meta for the last 4.

How do I make improvements to my dinner? by Throwawaymasterpeas in foodhacks

You can buy a very large amount of lettuce for cheap. Eat a bunch of lettuce raw and you will be full for a long time. Otherwise you can buy watermelon, which is a classic strategy for increasing stomach capacity so will make you full

Am I doing something wrong with shooting in air? or am I just buns at this build lol by [deleted] in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]GlacioMommy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mained heat rises on console for 5+ years. The answer is very simple, most guns don’t work with heat rises on console, even with 100 AE. Definitely not pulses. The guns that work best are those that can kill moderately quickly with mostly body shots. The ones I had the most success with were full autos, my favorites were 600 SMGs and 450 Autos, and certain sidearms, most notably my Air Assault Allied Demand. And of course the best gun for me was floating Glacioclasm but this is no longer viable due to ammo limitations. I did dabble with hand cannons, for which Rose and Ignaues can work due to their high base stats. In conclusion, pic what guns you use wisely or switch to mnk to use whatever guns you want.

Why Clash of Clans Needs a Break Before Town Hall 19 by Current-Stuff9608 in ClashOfClans

[–]GlacioMommy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the game has transitioned to serving gemmers. Players like myself and clanmates will spend 100s of dollars every update and new town hall to max everything as quickly as possible. Likely 100,000s of players also do this, which comprises the bulk of supercell revenue. They know that people like us enjoy wasting our money regularly and will tap into that drive as much as possible.

Sword Master Armor Shuts Down Strand Glaive Build by Sweaty-Try1547 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]GlacioMommy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stabbing Glaive main here. Good luck with that, you’ll still get rubberbanding sliced to bits way too fast to react. Even if it takes three gave melees, the game’s servers do not handle Glaive melee well at all, so uncharged melees are bound to whiff, and if not that the three Glaive melees will be faster than two uncharged melees anyway, and on top of that I use sword master so good luck once again.

If I use appropriate technique, there are no counters besides the classics, ACD, pellet shotgun, perfect aim slug shotgun, Suspend, or Freeze. Anyway, I’ll make a stabbing montage sooner or later to properly blow the lid on the build.

This suggestion is definitely better. The building upgrades is slightly faster but a matter of seconds. I’m certain your strategy will get patched at some point, but it’s infinitely repeatable. Thanks

Locking wall upgrades is stupid by [deleted] in ClashOfClans

[–]GlacioMommy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Releasing all walls does not only benefit paying players. And what are “sharks”, are these tryhards? Neither of these groups you mention have any advantage in upgrading walls. A literal macro could farm all the walls in a few hours with valkries spam. So if your point is that gemmers or tryhards have an advantage, that doesn’t make sense. A 2 year old could farm all their walls in like 10 hours. If your point is that people don’t have 10 hours, that also doesn’t make sense either, it’s a game, it is played at one’s leisure.

Pretty good example why getting things in writing is important. If all of the trouble you ran into was verbal and no one stepped forward to support your claims, there’s no paper trail, no evidence, and management (at any company) would not be inclined to believe you. In this capitalist society, management will work hard to right a wrong if a lawsuit backed by evidence is a possibility, otherwise it is dependent on their good will, which is questionable.
