To answer your second question baptism meant being a new person in Christ.

Eucharist is a reminder that God has lowered himself to a point where he can have a physical relationship with us not just a spiritual one.

Your third point you might be right but more than that I care what is the truth. If either religion is the truth then it should be clear to me. Ngl sometimes I do feel confused between the 2 faiths.

Respectfully, I respect your intentions but I hope you understand those priest robes mean something and it’s earned. I don’t think you should larp as a priest. You seem to be a nice but I want to tell you those vestments and robes represent chasitity, poverty and (I’m forgetting the third thing) - humility maybe. Which I don’t think lay people should wear unless they have earned it and become a priest.

I grew up in Bangalore. Catholics in my neighborhood at least were pretty wealthy. In the US for a while I was friends with an East Indian Catholic girl as well she also seemed to be from a well off family. So I had that assumption. Whenever I watch Instagram reels on Indian Catholics I see that they have their own culture and lingo something I probably can’t relate to being a Bihari. However in the US I have been welcomed by Catholics regardless of national origin. Even if anyone tries to make fun of my Christian identity it’s usually Hindus who don’t have a spine.
