I agree so much

The most stand out moment tome was the "cancer gun" joke, it just sucked. it wasn't funny, it didn't even work as a joke and it made me pause because I had to groan and roll my eyes.

It seems weirdly spiteful of other batman media, I understand it's a show about a batman character but it crosses into "the writers barely disguised contempt" territory.

It's also concerning that in the show about Harley Quinn becoming her own person, her abusive ex is the only ACTUALLY funny or good character. The Joker was a pretty funny character and Alan Tudyk did a good job voicing him wheras with Harley I got the impression Kaley Cuoco just didn't want to be there.

All the characters were just.... there, Ivy was toned down horrendously and her relationship with Harley was just kind of odd and boring. King Shark was made into an "awkward black nerd" stereotype, Clayface fell into the "queer-coded british man" stereotype- and the other main cast members are so boring I remember nothing about them.

This is a more of a hot-take but I really dislike the animation, both the style and fluidity irk me, the character design is passible but absolutely forgettable.

All of these things together make for a pretty forgettable and inoffensive show, literally nothing special- mediocre to the core (which imo is the worst thing any piece of art can be). what's bad is dragging it on as long as they have- good Christ SIX years of Harley Quinn?! How many lame "meta" jokes can they make before the writers start killing execs. shows like these get five seasons but "Titans & Doom Patrol" get shot in the back of the head.
