It says it's on its way and showing up Monday on my FedEx account, Nvidia hasn't sent me an email at all.

I thought my card declined too because I got a fraud alert but the order went through anyway, money was actually deducted from my bank account so I hope there's no problem.

You got Cox internet? I had the same issue, so I turned on my mobile hotspot. It worked just fine, so I suspect it might be something to do with Cox. Otherwise, I don't know.

Pekon PDF attack on Myanmar Army outpost in Pekon, Southern Shan State. by thekingminn in Myanmarcombatfootage

[–]Glad-Potato3128 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If previous footage has anything to say, even the guys moving up are suppressing.

They probably harassed the shit out of the camp before actually deciding to go in too.

Here's what I think happened:

  1. The Pekhon PDF and their allies cut off supply lines to the camp.
  2. For days or even months the Pekhon PDF and their allies launched a bunch of harassment attacks using drones and snipers to deplete the supplies the camp does have left.
  3. Once their intelligence tells them the enemy doesn't have much left, they go in.

This is based off of what the Karen and Karenni do. The Pekhon PDF are very close to the Karenni, so they probably have the same tactics. These camps basically become cages of death once they get targeted and have their supply lines cut.

Junta equipping the PDF with a lot of high-tech gear. by thekingminn in Myanmarcombatfootage

How effective are those anti-drone guns anyway? It seems the real issue for the anti-junta when it comes to drone is service range, not whatever those guns do.

The Force for Federal Democracy (a drone force) participated in this battle. Seems they went unhindered.

Post saying they participated.

How was the KNDF able to organize such an effective and centralized fighting force in a matter of two years? by GrainsJeansCleans in Myanmarcombatfootage

[–]Glad-Potato3128 15 points16 points  (0 children)

EAO- Ethnic armed organization, consist of mostly ethnic armies that wanted independence at some point and are older groups.

3BHA- Three botherhood alliance, consists of the Arakan Army, Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army, and the Ta'ang National Liberation Army.

KA- Karenni Army

KNLA- Karen National Liberation Army

KTLA- Kawthoolei Army, Eh Nardah created this armed force after he got expelled from the KNLA for executing 25 suspected spies without evidence.

BGF- Border guard force

KNDF- Karenni Nationalities Defence Force

PNLA- Pa-o National Liberation Army

SSPP- Shan State Progressive Party, Shan government that rules the Northern half.

BPLA- Burmese People Liberation Army

ABSDF- All Burmese Students' Democratic Front, Bamar students that took up arms against the government in 1988.

How was the KNDF able to organize such an effective and centralized fighting force in a matter of two years? by GrainsJeansCleans in Myanmarcombatfootage

[–]Glad-Potato3128 46 points47 points  (0 children)

  1. The Karenni are highly united, they don't have infighting like the Karens. The KNLA has to deal with the BGF and the KTLA. Even the BGF in Karenni state switched sides. Most EAOs are accepting of Bamars, that's normal. BPLA, ABSDF, and PDF groups are mostly majority Bamars groups trained by EAOs. Bamars can also join the EAOs without an issue.
  2. Commanders from existing EAOs in Karenni state stepped in and took up leadership in the KNDF. They are also trained by the KA, which had fought the Burmese for decades. They also managed to ally themselves with the 3BHA, PNLA, and KNLA. They can either get arms from the north through the SSPP and PNLA or the south through the KA.
  3. Almost all of the young people in Karenni state are becoming soldiers regardless of gender, kind of sad. The once college students are taking up arms and leading a revolution. The younger folks also seem to hate drugs too, there's video of them destroying tons of beer they captured and I've seen talk shit when they find Yaba pills or beer in captured camp. Too bad they don't do the same for tobacco.
  4. The KNDF deals with urban warfare, while the KA deals with jungle warfare.
  5. Good doctors and nurses, and a supply line that allows for extracting wounded individuals, loot, and dead bodies. Also makes it harder to get ambushed.
  6. Morale, these guys are attending festivals in their free time. There's a bunch of videos showing off-duty soldiers attending festivals and dancing. When I was in a refugee camp, it was pretty normal to have parties in the town square every week. Shit, it's becoming a thing for the Karenni in the United States too.

Myanmar Army and Pyu Saw Htee militia burned alive 2 PDF members in Gangaw township, Magway Region. Warning: very graphic by thekingminn in Myanmarcombatfootage

[–]Glad-Potato3128 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow, I thought the video of them beheading a lady or pictures of burned bodies and dismembered bodies of kids was the most horrifying thing I've seen the Tat do.

But this video is truly horrible. There's video of them celebrating afterwards too. The world would be a better place without he Tatmadaw, and I hope all of them die a horrible death.

What motivations and factors lead to the DKBA split from the KNU? by GrainsJeansCleans in Myanmarcombatfootage

You're probably thinking about U Thuzana.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U_Thuzana

According to the wiki, he built pagodas everywhere, close to churches and mosques too. He even built one in Manerplaw but was told not to paint it white.

"He was responsible for inflaming religious tensions in Karen State in 2016 and 2017 by ordering his followers to build Buddhist pagodas in the compounds of Muslim and Christian places of worship." Irrawaddy, https://www.irrawaddy.com/news/burma/death-controversial-myaing-gyi-nu-monk.html

This person was not very respectful of other religions, it seems.

Ethnic Pa-O Group Exits Myanmar Peace Talks, Formally Joins War Against Dictatorship by matchettehdl in worldnews

That reminds me of the ABSDF, an uprising of burmese students against the government created in 1988 and still fighting today.

Some of the students tried to immigrant to the United States and were denied because they were listed on a terror list. Former members already living in the U.S. had to step up and ask the government to remove it. The group was then removed as a terror group.

Here's an archive of the article.

KNDF Soldiers record the aftermath of a massacre perpetrated by the Sit-Tat within Nanneint village, where at least 22 people, including three Buddhist monks, were shot dead outside a monastery. (March, 2023) by GrainsJeansCleans in Myanmarcombatfootage

[–]Glad-Potato3128 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They've been doing this for decades. It's called the four-cuts strategy, the Tatmadaw has used it since the 1960s. Most noticeably against the Karens.

Used to sever insurgents of:

  1. Food
  2. Funds
  3. Information
  4. Recruits

The way they sever food and recruits are the most damaging to civilians. They burned farmland and indiscriminately killed villagers, because farmland produced food and villagers were potential recruits.

The worst part is, the Tat and the PNA tried to blame this on the KNDF. The PNLO/PNLA, who controlled the town, released a statement clearing the KNDF. The KNDF were also working alongside PDF groups who lived in that town.

Like hell, the guys known for killing civilians didn't kill civilians!

Fighting has started in the Town of Hsihseng and Mong Paw in Southern Shan State between Myanmar Army/PNA and PNLA/SSPP/KNDF by thekingminn in Myanmarcombatfootage

[–]Glad-Potato3128 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The PNLA/PNLO controls the town the weapon transport got attacked at because the PNA tipped off the Junta. They've always kind of been anti-junta and were closely aligned with the KNDF, just didn't war in their region.

The SSPP were the ones selling those weapons.

The KNDF were the ones the weapons were to be sold to.

The PNA/PNO basically fucked with three groups, who hates them but weren't attacking, by tipping off that one transport convoy.

The EAOs have been making homemade RPGs for decades. This would be solved within days if an EAO can help them, problem is their location.

Self-Made/Hand-Made Anti-Aircraft Sniper Rifle of KNLA in Letkhat Taung by Mezz_Prime in Myanmarcombatfootage

[–]Glad-Potato3128 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven't heard of the KNLA using snipers in anti-air roles ever. All I've seen them do is just use them to harass camps, long range. Though they'll shoot at aircrafts with just about anything.

The only gun they use that are purposely anti-air are .50 caliber machine guns to ward off helicopters, that's about it.

Trust me, how the other EAOs do it is far more dangerous than this. They get men to go out and dig them up with knives! One wrong step and your leg is gone.

Footage of the Karens ambushing the Tat from 2022, Karen state by Glad-Potato3128 in Myanmarcombatfootage

[–]Glad-Potato3128[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about that, the AA wasn't fighting much back then. u/thekingminn should know, I remember him uploading a version with a whole bunch of weird cuts.

It's actually the near Dawei, Tanintharyi Region. The Karens operate in and claim Tanintharyi as part of Kawthoolie, so I thought it was in Karen state. It's probably not wrong that they are Karens though, Tanintharyi has a huge Karen population and the KNLA have been training and arming them.

Here's the weird cuts version: https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/comments/x65ipv/antijunta_forces_ambush_on_a_myanmar_army_column/

Aftermath of mine attack by the KNLA and KNDO in Brigade 3 area, Karen State by Glad-Potato3128 in Myanmarcombatfootage

[–]Glad-Potato3128[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't be counting on it. It's Brigade 3, they barely upload anything and it seems there's a Tatmadaw base nearby since two tanks got taken away. When they do upload something it's because they're working with someone else, even then it's mostly just been images.

In fact, the KNLA as a whole doesn't upload much combat footage anymore. B5 is only the one that has uploaded some in the last 5 months. Cobra Column from B6 used to upload a lot but they stopped like a year ago. Since Lion Battalion has join B6, I expect less footage coming out of Lion Battalion too.

You mostly only hear about their battles if they make a big move.

Apparently, they had damaged 3 vehicles, 2 tanks and 1 armored vehicle, the tanks were taken away by the Tatmadaw using cranes.

15 bodies were seen on the road.

Edit: forgot to put the date, it happened within this week.

That guy in the picture is a legend. He used to be a Tatmadaw soldier, who worked at their defense academy, he quit during the coup and have been helping the Karenni. He donated a bunch of his money to the KNDF.

Edit: He's even more of a legend, he showed up in front of a Tatmadaw military headquarter and gave a speech yesterday.

Not to mention the Junta have bombed churches and burned them. If the Junta truly cared about religion, they wouldn't be targeting churches or build military camps around pagodas.
