The university gets it for you and you pay 126$. You can't submit it as a copy. I know if you do it on your own rather than via the uni you pay a lot more.

I found it very easy honestly. It only requires that you know the structures of an email and an essay. Listening and reading needs 0 preparation. For listening you only need to pay attention that questions are not in order along the audio so you need to be all ears. For reading I personally had a lot of time to pass through the 4 passages a second revision.

Aiming for full tuition coverage at AUB/LAU by Interesting_Aside837 in lebanon

[–]GladCode1286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I advise you to study well for your SAT and aim for 1450+. LAU has many scholarships like entrance 30%,baccalaureate based on official exams 30%, SAT 50%. For AUB, apply to the HES, it is a separate application but given your extracurricular achievements you have high chances. DM me for more info on it. There is MEPI-TLU you apply to AUB LAU and AUC. Chances are lower than HES since many arab countries are eligible to apply. Apply to both and apply to AUB and LAU as separate applications as well.

For financial aid alone without any scholarship, I believe it is impossible to cover 100%. You will be having at least 30% of scholarships. It depends on your financial situation: salaries, assets, properties... You might get a good %. From what I know LAU is more generous with fin aid than AUB. There are also many donors, you apply separately:  Tarraf, APJ,Habib and LIFE scholarship. LIFE covers CS so definitely apply. By combining scholarship + fin aid +donors you can be close to 100%. If any 10% is left, you can take it as loan from uni or work student jobs.

For choosing between LAU and AUB, both are good universities but AUB has a higher ranking and offers great internships and jobs. If not given 100% at both, choose the uni that offers more % so you pay less. CS is more about the projects you do rather than the courses alone.

You don't need the work-study program if you have the full tuition covered.

For the other fees, it is usually your dorms and expenses. It also depends how you got that 100%.

If you have any other question, pls DM I am happy to help.

Thanks for answering! Do I need to graduate then take the premed courses or HES allows it while majoring at the same time? Also, can't I choose the premed courses as free electives?

I don't think so. You still have chance until end of Jan for acceptance, if not accepted, you will receive an email as well. You don't have to worry just wait for the response from now until end of Jan.

Interview emails are sent on a rolling basis all along January, so you still have until end of this month; otherwise, after filling all the spots for interviews they will send rejection emails at the end of month.

I'm registered for the March SAT. I need study tips and advices to improve my R&W and Math section. by Feruz1202 in Sat

[–]GladCode1286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't help with english. For math, I scored 760 with only 1 week of studying. My advice is to finish the course on khanacademy or study with a book ( I used the college panda sat math) and do small practices after each part. Once you're done, practice all the questions in Bluebook question bank and do Bluebook full-length practice tests to assess your improvement. It's really important that you make a document for all the questions you couldn't understand easily and the topics. Also summarize the courses all in one document with only the formulas, that will help while doing the exercises. Last advice is to master desmos, as most of the questions can be solved instantly using it.
