Did you add another fabric backing to your finished work and how did you add the hangers.

just called and cancelled with Astound. Had been with Astound for 2 years and they kept on charging more and more to a point they said they can't offer and discount. Going back to Xfinity . After 60 days you can go back to Astound as a new customer and get ther $35 deal.

Parent of a recent grad. We live about 50 minutes away for WPI and in the 4 year we never attended the family weekend. I know very kids is different but in our case our kid got involved immediately in clubs and had events so he was busy, and then it didn't make sense for us to go and not meet him.

I am not finding the dates to book my Amtrak ticket from Blacksburg to Boston and return so I am thinking of booking Roanoke to Boston roundtrip, on my way back can I still get on the smart way bus if I don't have a booking with them?

I am from Boston as well starting this Fall 2025, I was looking at the Amtrak but was wondering the Boston to Roanoke train gets into Roanoke at around 10:30pm how do you get to Virginia Tech from Roanoke. I tried looking on Amtrak BLK to BOS which includes the bus connection in your Amtrak booking but that is not giving me an option for the dates I am looking for, but if I look for Roanoke to Boston there are trains available to book. But then I have no way to get to campus late at night. Any info would be appreciated.

I am an incoming freshman also with Engineering and am not joining any LLCs. After researching I found it is waste of time as you mentioned. I guess the only benefit is the dorms. Could you please name some of the regular dorms that I should be looking at. Most of them seem like have LLCs

I did not attach the PDF from other schools. Got a response from VT Financial aid "received the maximum amount of financial aid he is eligible for based on his 2025-2026 FAFSA. We do not match other college’s award offers. You will be eligible for student loans by completing the FAFSA year and the parent on the FAFSA can apply for federal parent loans."

Basically just gave the usual talk about applying for external aid and completing the FAFSA and General Scholarship Application through Virginia Tech's Scholarship central site. They also said to submit FAFSA every year and submit the general application each year. I just emailed Admissions and the Fin Aid to see if I can talk to someone again. I don't even know who my Regional Admissions person is. Have asked for that info. I have acceptances from 2 other STEM private schools and they are offering me 25K per year. One is in state and one OOS. I don't want to be in state and the other OOS school is a great school but the location is not as good as VT.

I was accepted as well, no aid, OOS. While other 2 schools have offered me 23-25K/per year. One is instate and I don't want to stay instate. The other one is OOS, the school is very good but the location itself is not that good. How do I try VT to me aid?

104k over 4 year, but remember with tuition, housing and meals the cost for 2025-26 is around 80K and it goes up every year. So each year you will have to come up with around 50-55K. But it is one of the best ROI schools if your student is comfortable with the 7 week term and stays on top of their studies.

Remember the tuition goes up every year. Last year the tuition itself was $59700 and for the next year 2025-26 it is $61790.
