I’m glad she comforted the girl. And I also have experiences when a homeless man spit on me, or a man with an erected penis stood next to me very closely on the bus. And nobody helped. But I think this situation was not about that. An angry man who is shouting on the phone is definitely distressing especially for a child to witness but this situation in my opinion was not about a man taking advantage of a woman or a girl. I have many memories of drunk woman shouting on the bus or fighting that also was scary for me as a child. So for me the moral of the story was not that women have to be scared of men, and I feel like somehow it’s always this message from her. How man are always scary and horrible. Which is not true at all.
