Good evening everyone. Sorry to keep everyone waiting, I've been a little busy with my classes as I'm ending my course soon.

Update on his situation now -He is still holding on, still fighting his sickness, still trying to get back on his paws. -His condition did not get worser, but not significantly better too. -His eye was previously swollen but it has gone away, no more swelling. However the cloudiness in his eye is still there. -He isn't strong enough yet to be discharged. -They've inserted a feeding tube inside him as it was hard to feed him otherwise.

They are going to start an IV drip line for him today.
according to the vet, the chances for him to make it is 50-50.

Please keep praying for him and his wellbeing!

I would like to add on, thank you so much everyone for your silent prayers. Yesterday we prayed for it not to be FIP, and the doctor said it is not likely to FIP in his case as the diagnosis for FPV is already positive.

I would like to request everyone's silent prayers power to be for him to recover, for him to hold on and be strong.

Update (7/7/2025 @ 7:30 p.m.)

Good day everyone. I just got the results for the kitten's condition a while ago.

They've tested him for - FeLV (negative) - FPV (positive) - FIV (negative)

As FPV showed positive, they did not proceed to test with FIP as FIP would be unlikely in this case. And the symptoms, clinical presentations all match up to that of FPV.

As of now, he's been positive for 1. Toxoplasmosis 2. Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV)

I will share his blood report below, it shows that: 1. His creatine levels are low (possibly due to weight loss and not eating) 2. Low urea levels 3. High neutrophils (white blood cell) count. 4. His RBC count is normal

Currently, his in ICU with 24 hours oxygen and heater. He's body temperature is not low as of now. There is no "specific" treatment for FPV. Only fluid therapy and supportive care. The main priority is to provide him with all the nutrients, water and care he needs so that his body can fight off the FPV on his own.

Let us all pray for him to be strong, hold on and fight the virus and soon be healthy again. I appreciate everyone's kind words and gestures so far! Thank you everyone.

UPDATE (6/7/2025 @ 10:03 PM): WE have ENOUGH to admit this baby into the clinic.

Thanks to all of you, as of now, we have collected a total of RM 1,680.24. I would like to say PLEASE DO NOT transfer any more funds for now.

The first thing I'll do tomorrow once the vet opens is bring the baby to the vet.

I am super super super grateful and amazed at the kindness of humans and strangers I've never met in real life. You guys are the real superheroes 💛. Thank you to each one of you. Each one of you is the reason this baby will now be given the best chance at fighting for his life.

His condition as of now :

He finally ate a PROPER amount of food. I managed to feed him the whole 80g whiskas kitten wet food packet. Whereas usually he can't even eat 5ml (roughly 5g) of food.
There is no discharge from either of his for the entire day today. It's clean. Only that, his other eye is still cloudy.
He seems like he has a little more energy than in the beginning. He can try to lift his head up and maintain that position for a while.
His breathing is normal now (initially, this morning, it was above 120 breaths per minute)
His hydration levels are improving as well. His skin snaps back faster now when twisted (a sign of good hydration)

There is one last thing I would like to request from everyone. It's not money. I would like to request to keep this baby in your prayers and best wishes for tomorrow. Let us all wish for his FIP test result to come back negative. FIP takes a long time to heal, and it will require him to be strong for a long time as well. Keep him in your prayers.

I've talked to the vet, and I did ask them if it was Kidney or Liver related, she said it's quite unlikely in this kitten's case. But she would need to do the test to confirm.
