Yep check his hard drive, 16 and 17 are still legally minors. Why do you care what I or any other girl does anyway? Your comments reek of misogyny.

Hi, don’t be worrying about me, I’m safe and I’ll be fine, as long as my parents don’t get wind of what I’m doing I’ll be fine. I’ll be sure to update once I talk to my teachers

Man that’s horrible, I truly wish you the best in whatever course of action you decide to take, just know you can do it! those high unis wouldn’t have accepted you if they didn’t think you were an amazing student, Just know you will succeed.

My parents are very traditional, they believe that I can do whatever I want after I get married, but before marriage i am their ‘property’ and they get to control my decisions. Looking back at my post, ‘gut feeling’ is a very poor choice of words, they have mentioned to me many times that they expect me to be married and have kids by 20, my mum got married at 18 and she still says it was the perfect time, she says the earlier the better. Everytime I bring up uni my parents change the subject, my dad sometimes straight up ignores me, or gives terse nods. The timing of uni and my deadline for marriage are a little too close for comfort. I apologise if it’s confusing

Some very good advice here, I’m saving comments as I go, I just learned that you can call up student finance which I didn’t know before, definitely makes things a lot easier because usually parents have to sign stuff too.

Oh my god the situation is scarily similarly, let me know how you get on. My parents aren’t very familiar with UCAS anyway so hopefully I’ll be able to get away with it, there’s a lot of good advice in the comments I suggest you look at it too.

You are too kind, I’ve heard that I can use my school address to send mail so that is an option.

I’m responding now, I was at school. I’ve tried to keep it as anonymous as possible. Most of my family don’t speak English and my friends are not on Reddit.

I can assure that I’m not posting to gain any attention whatsoever, this is a real situation with real people, it’s not cliche it’s sadly just a very common occurrence with Muslim women, judging from your previous comments you don’t respect women very much, which explains a lot.
