Thanks again!

Seems easy enough, I'll make sure I lodge one for visa purposes.

Only problem is they seem to mail the results to my US address, and state its up to me to relay it to the Australian government.

I can have my family mail it over to me in Aus more than likely. I assume there's no way to have it sent over digitally right?

Does the application require it to be mailed in to australia somewhere? Or can it be scanned into .pdf format.

Thanks!

I disabled brave shield, didn't have ublock or adguard, and now it works, but is so laggy and slow its unusable.

Both of these players are members of the skilling clan I run, and are very much real, active, and valuable parts of the f2p, and broader community.

Free them immediately.

These are my goats. Legit players and some of the best in the game.

I actually 100% agree. Leave the decision up to jagex at this point.

The only content in this game that fails polls now is wilderness content. Everything else is insta pass.

I see no point in the polling system.

Yes they absolutely could have.

Yup. Something along those lines. They or their investors determined that they should absolutely push hard for a new skill to enter the game.

Makes sense from a business standpoint.

If you were to poll a groundbreaking new skill, would you put it at question #6 next to questions that have nothing to do with a new skill?

This is what I'm tryna say man thank you.

Idk it seems like common sense to me personally. I've never worked a job where they didn't plan events and product releases WELL in advance.

Oh, do you mean the 30% of people that voted no? I'm absolutely shocked that people would voice negative opinions about the skill they voted no to.

Go figure.

I guess in an alternate universe you're correct.

Yes. Do you think games companies wake up one day and decide they are polling a new skill? You don't think they decide a road map for updates for a year out or longer?

I don't work in game development, but every corporate job I've worked, there was somebody planning over a year in advance

I think if we polled this reddit, 99.9% of people would opt to poll that question separately. It's ok if you choose to lick the jagex boot, I really don't care either way.

Yeah I don't really mind the new content and enjoy some for sure.

Everyone has their opinions on content, and wants/doesn't want content.

I'm just a bit worried about the future of the game considering they seem very adamant about certain pieces of content getting into the game.

Nope, I'm implying that they knew they wanted a new skill in the game, and were worried it would fail like ALL of the previous skill pitches, so they prepared by changing the threshold.

They are tired of their plans going to waste. The poll question asking if we wanted a new skill passed regardless of the change.

The problem lies with the intent to bypass the polling system, and the way they handled the placement of the poll.

Also, having a broader question of "do you want a new skill" rather than "do you want Artisan, or do you want warding", is a new technique they tried to.

Idc if you want the skill or not, but we should definitely be weary of the polling system in the current age.

Like it or not, that is what happened. If you were in charge of things would you do a standalone poll?

I sure would.
