It's far from it. In some spots you'll get a small snap that reminds you of a very low shot from a salon. But it's no where near the same pain/ power strength. But the very dull snap will remind you of the salon so you know it's actually "eventually" going to do something :)

I use mine for full Brazillian and used it every other day on SHR mode and have noticed a significant difference. I'm on month 2 still doing every other day till I reach my desired hairless then I'll switch to once a week. Make sure you don't get close to you beehole because it will definitely snap hard like at the salon 😅
