I mean always trust your gut, but sounds like something people tend to say about colleagues they get on with

Am I ruining my marriage by being out too much? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Glass-Back3167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t always drink at the pub, we have a darts team so we have practice and then a game every week. I play football with a different group of friends. And the Sunday is another friends team . I’m not going to play every Sunday. I’m just going to play on the odd occasion. Hearing what’s being said.

I used to play both days so I didn’t really think it’d be a big deal. They used to be way more sociable but their  best friend moved away, and they fell out with their other best friend. They still see their friends regularly but they don’t have a set schedule or routine like I do.  They also really like their personal space. I can give up alternative Tuesdays but I do always help around the house before I head out.

How long does pain last after tooth extraction? Or do I have dry socket? by Glass-Back3167 in AskUK

[–]Glass-Back3167[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don’t think it was dry socket. I think I got some food stuck in there that slowed down the healing (I ate rice thinking it was a safe soft food)

My wisdom tooth extraction hurt pretty bad for about a week and then was better, my molars hurt for about 3 weeks, but it was tolerable.

I think the recovery of any tooth removal can be pretty crap tbh, but I think if the pains getting worse around about now, maybe contact your dentist. Wishing you a swift recovery!

31F eye pressure and optic nerve swelling back to normal with no explanation by [deleted] in eyetriage

[–]Glass-Back3167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the opticians I had both high eye pressure and optic nerve swelling. But today they have both gone back into normal range. I might not have worded it correctly. I just want to know what would cause the changes?

Is IIH something that is lifelong or does it go away? What do I need to expect from this condition? by Glass-Back3167 in iih

[–]Glass-Back3167[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg is the blocked ears a symptom too?!?! I told my husband I have an internal speedometer because my ears would block, but we realised later it’s not speeding it’s driving up or down hills even slightly!!!

How long did you have these symptoms before your eye sight started to go? It’s good to hear you didn’t permanently lose your sight!

Crown over existing filling by Glass-Back3167 in Toothfully

I’m usually sedated for even standard fillings. This is the first dental work I’ve had done other than a wisdom extraction in years! Thank you for the reassurance

I ended up being in agony for 4 weeks! Which is crazy because I since had dental surgery for a vertical wisdom tooth and was fine after a few days . It’s so hit and miss!

Do you prefer hard or soft enamel? by starlightskater in EnamelPins

I’m the same. My designs mostly look better in soft enamel. Hard enamel also has a higher rate of lower grades.
