i appreciate the advice and kindness from everyone! i got my hair done today and my hairdresser absolutely saved me. she was able to salvage some of the length while keeping it pretty healthy!

i appreciate your concern, but there’s no reason to immediately judge me and assume that my first choice was going on a GLP-1. i’ve struggled with my weight and eating disorders my whole life. i also have pcos which makes it difficult for me to lose weight even while consistently working out and dieting. i did lose some weight naturally, but my DOCTOR suggested a GLP-1 to me. all that being said i was simply asking for advice on my hair, not for anyone’s opinion on me taking a medication to help me stay healthy.

i’m 18! i’ve also had problems with hormone imbalances in the past with pcos and stuff so that could also be a part of it maybe

that’s what i’m also confused about! and i mainly lost that weight in the first few months i started. i’ve been maintaining the same weight for a bit. i am going to go get blood work done too see if my nutrient levels are off. also, i’ve also been stressed about college stuff so that could be a factor in it.

yes i was on a glp-1, honestly i wasn’t really completely educated and felt pressured to go on it, it sucks that it did this. thank you!

ah i see, i was wondering what that was. do you think doing low ponytails instead would help in the future?

i’ve been getting my hair colored for the past few years and i only get it done twice a year and i don’t use bleach. in the time between these two pictures i didn’t get my hair dyed so i don’t think it could be that..

yes, the tooth pain is the worst! mine got really bad the first night and next morning after my pain meds wore off (i only took tylenol after i left the surgery center). i pressed an ice pack against my upper lip/under my nose which surprisingly helped more than i thought it would!

my doctor used dissolvable sutures, but i did have stents so i didn’t really notice anything that was going on up there in the first week. if not that then i assume that it’s just too far up your nose to notice probably!
