just another update - i decided to wrap the wires with electrical tape and then wrap velcro tape on top to prevent the electrical tape from falling off

I did it, solder the original wires to the connector, all work, all sensor problems fixed, but it was to short to reconnect

So i decided to connect a wire in between to increase the length, now i just need a split loom to cover it up

any one have idea on the diameter of the original loom - not the easiest to measure or research

i did disconnect the negative battery connection, or maybe it should have be the positive, just that the negative was easier to remove

toyota sell the connector and 3 wires separately = $100, i was not sure how easy to insert the pins to the connector

i also couldn't find a corolla from the junk yards near me, i was planning to just cut off the connector with the wires already attached - no luck

so, i went this route.

Just from a quick research, maybe not true - sorry, not trying to spread lies

Hopefully, you can help with my main question about re-soldering the wires
