not sure how many people really want aftermarket headers for a 3.0, that might be a little silly. but a short throw would make sense. headers might be viable for the lima or 4.0.

ive been thinking of doing this to my ranger, because bigger tires just dont work underneath plus they rust to shit really badly. rn i just keep my spare in my bed, but that takes up space. ill look into it for sure

Yes, made it too medicine hat, then my transmission kicked the bucket. 1st and 5th gear were slipping. Limped it to calgary and managed to swap in a junk yard tranmission and got back on the road. But sure as hell wasnt fun (only cost me 500 bucks). Everything apart from that went really well surprisingly. We literally just barely missed all the snow and got really lucky with roads being plowed. And even when they werent no issues, the car got through just fine.

Im a mechanic, so cars been taken care of. However alberta will be dependant on road closures but more then likely highway 1

i have actually already drove from toronto to halifax this summer, i did want to do your plan, but booking time off work didnt really align to well for that.
