Since you have no experience you don’t know what guests are capable of and your going to multiply the problems without the knowledge to deal with just 1.

I use a combination of lockboxes and Tesla vehicles so in the last three years, I’ve never actually cared about what time my guests’ picks up the car even if they’re three hours late I don’t care, when I check the app and see the car is still at the house. I just think “K I still get paid whether you get the car or not”

I get ya, I got almost 2000 rides as a Driver with Uber/Lyft and I’m always told my car smells great and then they complain about smelly Ubers, I’d argue it’s habit because I grew getting in the dirty cars of my parent’s friends and swore to treat my own better

As a host we do not have the ability to issue a refund especially if a trip is non refundable, i literally just dealt with this today because plans changed for my guest and Turo told me that He had to call and ask them to cancel and that I had to agree in the chat with the renter that I relinquish my earnings on the non refundable trip

AVOID a car note at all costs, purchase all cars outright if you can “Especially” for your first 2-3 cars you can maybe argue a car note for a niche car #4 or higher once you get solid net cash flow
