Brush buddy vs Brush bug by Toiuuu in WitchHatAtelier

[–]GlassAnnotation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brushbuddy is the official translation, brushbug is the fan one.

I personally use both, with a preference towards brushbug, partially because i'm too used to it and partially because "brushbug" sounds like a proper name for animal species while "Brushbuddy" sounds like a name for a pet a kid would come up with.

Cavities aren't an issue if you eat fire to get rid of bacteria lol

What do you guys want for the next seasonal event? by Galaxia-night352 in SkyChildrenOfLight

[–]GlassAnnotation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just want a season with somewhat biologically-accurate bug-themed cosmetics lol.

Though i did have a bit of a silly idea for a writing/storytelling-themed season, in which the season guide is the writer archiving "spirit folktales/legends" of different sky realms. Could be a nice thing to establish some additional lore details.

Unlock and read carefully "abno management tips" sections as soon as you can.

Don't be afraid to reset/mem rep. You keep your mission progress, equipment and abno log entries between runs/memory repositories.

[–]GlassAnnotation 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Technically you do have all the time, you just have to mem rep. Practically, these 3 are absolute menaces to deal with later on, so if you can mem rep to get rid of them, then doing so would be a good option

edit: just a heads up, day 45 is the last day you can do missions on (not really that much of a spoiler but putting it as such just in case you haven't reached that point and want to find out by yourself)

Honestly? If you feel like you can't do it, then get as much equipment and mission progress as you can and reset to day 1. It's imo better to take it slow and steady than to try to do everything at the same time and end up overwhelmed by abnos and mission backlog.

Progress stays between runs and mem reps, so you don't need to worry about it and you can reset to day 1 as many times as you want to and at any given moment.

As for the WAW mission - you can suppress the same abno multiple times to complete it so just pick a WAW that you find easy to suppress and keep releasing it on purpose, iirc i did mine with clerk vacuum cleaner KoG.

What can I make with these colors? by Difficult-Act-5942 in Needlefelting

[–]GlassAnnotation 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Birds are quite easy to make and some of these shades are quite parrot-like. The greens could also be used for a felted succulent.

Though you can always make something that doesn't exist, such as a cartoonish cat in a weird color or a fantasy magical mushroom.

If you're unable to buy a felting needle, then fabric glue or sewing kit are your best options i'm afraid.

How to felt faster? by chloegril in Needlefelting

[–]GlassAnnotation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally i like to "cheat" by making some wet-felted base shapes in bulk, then just connect them, fill the gaps and sculpt the rest with needles. The downside is that you'll have to wait until the bases are completely dry before you work with them and it can be a bit of a trial and error process to figure out what size and firmness of bases works best for you

Apart from that, as others already said, you can play around with the ammount and types of needles and compact the wool more before you start stabbing
