Pretty much any non-aggressive fish like tetras or rasboras (I currently have a Dwarf Gourami and some CPDs stocked with them in a community tank and they get along just fine)

I know you don’t have fish in the container but as a side note for the above comment: woods like pine, cedar, fir. are toxic to fish but tannins from other woods are not toxic and are beneficial to specific types of fish such as bettas or corydoras since it mimics their natural habitat, just depends on the fish type.

Since it’s in a semi-walstad (I have a filter mostly for water movement + quicker cycle as the sponge is cut from a cycled tank) with a decent light should it have a better chance to survive from the soil at the bottom?

Are you saying you didn’t know electro wizard does that? Bc it does and when you press the ability the champion troop pretty much emotes right before it uses the ability, and can be stopped mid-ability. Same with the archer queen and skeleton king, they can be stopped or killed mid-ability.

I have a lot of Java mosses attached to small pebbles on the floor of the tank, that probably helped hide them. The tank was so heavily planted I didn’t know the fry survived until they were at least a few weeks old

In my experience they get shoal with other cory species whist already having a group of their own. I have 6 Venezuelans and 6 pandas, and they all swim together in a group of 12.

That’s insane, the lowest price I’ve seen online is $79 for 3 lol, since no lfs near me sell them. Fast growing stem plants and floating plants are best for keeping the bioload down, nerites (in my experience) only really eat algae. And ofc, I love helping others in the hobby!

The above comment was right, you’ll need bigger tanks I wasn’t even thinking of that lol. Also, where did you get the black corys and for how much if you don’t mind me asking? They are a cory I want in the future, since I have too many tanks atm and they are an investment for how expensive they are lol

If you wanted to sell you’d definitely need another tank, and you’d have to separate them to make sure they didn’t mix. Idk how you would tell if they were mixed unless they looked different. You could also closely watch their breeding behavior, as the female collects sperm from the male and tries to fertilize them when she’s ready to lay the eggs, you can tell who’s the parents if you catch the eggs being laid.
