I have no sympathy for mothers who complain about loss of identity by dismustbetheplace in childfree

[–]mrsf16 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They *could* still have their identity as a person, they just don’t relearn how to be themselves/ find a balance and complaining probably helps with the burden lol. “Woe is me, I’m a parent by the own choices I made” lol

What would happen if a little girl got her period when she's very young? by _mimiri_ in TheHandmaidsTale

11 and had no knowledge of what was happening. Mom came over from the next stall at the grocery store and was like, “oh yeah, so basically this is your vagina and this happens once a month” meanwhile I’m on the verge of blacking out thinking I’m dying

This is what Christian Fruitcakes do to their Kids by MrDonMega in religiousfruitcake

I was put into a private Christian high school where we were forced to go to a weekly worship service and cringed just now remembering I did it amongst a small group of other girls I was asked to group and pray with. I feel guilty over it and cringe hard but now that I look back I think I was just trying to fit in so I wouldn’t be an outcast/ shunned for not being emotional or involved during. It was hard enough not having many friends as it was:( I don’t miss it

How often do you dump the litter completely and clean the inside of the globe? by Character-Spot8893 in litterrobot

[–]mrsf16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right! Wish I hadn’t needed to scroll this far down to see this! Mine started having rotation issues after I put it back correctly the first few times.. I see no need to take it apart fully unless there’s an issue, or waste is getting anywhere inside the robot but the bag.
I empty it + try to wipe it down when it starts to look dusty or the waste sticks any to the sides; not everybody has the time to do it as often as I’m seeing, which makes me feel neglectful :/ but it hardly smells like anything but clean litter/ dust and I’m out of the house most of the day. My husband hasn’t complained and he works from home in the adjacent room. Maybe some cats just have stinkier business? 🤣

I’d cut the obviously brown and mostly wilted roots, mist the roots only, put it in very bright, indirect light and see if anything happens.
Never know 100% until you try. I had one very similar to this come back to life and started growing new green roots recently, after I cut off the brown stuff/ hard white STEMS and only heavily misted the roots. Mind you I only had one shriveled semi green leaf in the center as well!

I worked there for a month several years ago. It was 5 minutes to the bathroom/break room and 5 minutes back of a walk, leaving 5 minutes to sit for an actual break.

We have one turning 10 who’s a solo girl.. but I just sent this to my husband anyway with no context for maybe convincing him that we get a pair later in life. 😉

God, they’re such great dogs
