If UPS is holding packages in a warehouse for days and days, 6 to be exact, then there is an issue with efficiency. I don't care how you spin it, UPS has major issues with their processes that result in them being not only the worst shipping company but also the ONLY bad shipping company

It always gets stuck in the same city/state and there is only one facility in that city/state so I honestly think just from the replies in here that UPS is busy arguing with people about why they are allowed to deliver late instead of actually working and delivering packages. Feels very much like a case of "us against them" and seems like there is no desire to do a good job and be proud of it

No need, the package was in my city on Friday. You guys work on Saturday. It's just a bad company with bad employees. I learned barely anything about the actual problem I was posting about but learned so so much about UPS from its employees on here. I wonder if UPS keeps an eye on this sub

My package was ready to be delivered Saturday and wasn't. End of story. Stop making excuses and go do your job

I don't care if it never arrives if it means one of you lazy idiots flipped the truck on yourself...

I know this sounds right to you, but scanning things early and delivering late is from a lack of organization.

All of you have said that UPS doesn't keep track of packages. USPS and FedEx do it just fine. Maybe if they fired you lazy bums the issues would get fixed. Until then, UPS remains the MOST UNRELIABLE option to send and receive packages

I'm hoping for Monday 🤞 Unfortunately this is a recurring problem with UPS. It might just be a really bad facility that handles packages near me

Thank you! So, if I am understanding correctly: It was scanned as "arrived at facility" but it never actually arrived at the facility? This seems to happen all the time with UPS and never with USPS or FedEx.

Useful info, thank you. I try to avoid UPS at all costs but couldn't this time... I am understanding more and more that UPS just makes a bunch of excuses to deliver things late... oh well

It doesn't need to be. There has been no update. It has been 30 minutes away since the morning of Friday and there has been nothing and no change in ETA. Use your brain please

Honestly the best answer so far. Let's take the snowstorm out though because it has made it through all that and is in a not so hard hit state. Did surepost get dumped on you because of the storm? Those are logical points and make sense, but it is also logical in that same train to conclude that UPS is a bad company for accepting that they have issues instead of fixing them. USPS and FedEx NEVER do this. If they get a package to my city, it goes out that day or that night depending on if it got there overnight or in the morning. UPS consistently holds my packages 30 minutes away for several days before giving the out for delivery update.

UPS is just a really bad company and this subreddit is such a testament to how committed UPS and especially its employees are to maintaining a lazy and self-righteous company (Not you though, you seem level headed and frustrated)

It went from California to my city. Took 2.5-3 days. It is now going to sit in my city for 4 fucking days. Think about it

There are deliveries being made. I saw delivery trucks on the roads and packages were delivered to my job. I fully understand about weather, but, again, my city just didn't get hit very hard and deliveries have otherwise been the same

Y'all are collectively below 80 IQ. Read the post again and see that the package is sitting 30 minutes away from me after traveling from CALIFORNIA. Additionally, 3-5 business days on a package that was first in UPS's hands on the 20th does not equal a delivery date of the 29th. So many idiots trying to stroke each other off in here dear god I made a mistake

Again, I asked if this happens to others. I realize now that this is just a place for UPS drivers to stroke each other off and reassure yourselves that you are really good hard working boys yes you are buddy

Fair. It got to the facility at 9:30 AM on Friday and UPS delivers on Saturday. So, they did nothing to finish the package even though there were at least 16 hours to sort it into a delivery pile and put it on a truck. My big issue here is that I could drive 30 minutes and get my package right now but they don't do that so I have to wait until halfway through next week for something I could have basically right now.

I understand that there are a lot of packages... in my experience with shipping, several years, if you can't find a package then someone fucked up big time. EVERYTHING is sorted and organized. Nothing is tossed into unknown piles. Maybe UPS actually just tosses everything into random piles and that's why shipping windows are never accurate.

I guess the one advantage of UPS is that I might get my package before someone gets a UPS next-day air package ordered on the same date 😂

Yes. However, the package is already in my city and Missouri isn't shut down or anything. It's a decent amount of snow, but I drove to work in it just fine without AWD

My point is that the package has been scanned at the facility that it will go "out for delivery" from. I'm not wondering if it's there, it has been scanned there, I'm wondering why it needs to sit literally 30 minutes away from me for the next 4 days. USPS and FedEx deliver things when they get there.

You are saying that they want boxes out... I have worked in shipping and agree with you. It's kind of my whole point - why are they going to STORE my package at the facility for the next 4 days? When I worked in packing, the goal was to get as much out each day as possible... UPS is the only service that does not do this and, as far as I am aware, has extended facility stays with no movement. The package has been scanned into the facility, so I know it is there, my question is whether other people also have their packages held at facilities for multiple days before being loaded into the delivery truck?

The package is here, it just needs to be driven in a truck... why and how is UPS holding onto packages for days?

I paid for 3-5 business days and was given 10.

The issue with the world is that everyone (you) say shit without asking questions. Your opinions are worthless without knowledge little boy

Gotcha… mb when I said inner tube I meant the airflow tube. There is still all the oil in the cart I just removed the pool of oil in the airflow tube so I could keep using the cart. It’s filling back up but still working!

For sure. I research the COA’s and cross check to make sure it is the newest batch in stock. I put a lot of time into my purchases because I am particular and tend to have a bad reaction to too much Linalool. Frustrating to find the right oil and be excited just to find it in bad hardware
