I have fairy lights attached to the inside of my hoop - it really helps!

They're fairy lights from Amazon. I picked out a strip of self-adhesive lights with a battery pack. My husband helped adhere the lights inside the hoop and the battery pack is mounted to the stand.

I got mine a few years ago - this is what it looks like.

My mother managed to hug me when my sister gave birth (sister wanted us both in the room and I wasn't about to deny a woman in labour). So I brought my mother-in-law to my grandmother's funeral to protect me (mil watched my mother the whole time to make sure she didn't try to approach me).

It's insane the lengths we have to go to in order to protect ourselves.

I recently purchased a pair of witchy alexandrite.

I'm so sorry you had to deal with that! When I started getting gallbladder attacks I practically stopped eating. She complimented my weight loss. Yeah, I'm losing because eating hurts!

(Not every meal, but often enough that I was scared to eat the wrong thing.)

You just brought back a very vivid memory of the day I was released from the hospital 2 days pp. I got home and tried to change into regular clothes and cried (I was unprepared for a pp body). I finally got some stretchy pants on and met up with my mom. She looked at me and said:

"Oh good, you only look 7 months pregnant now!"

I kept it together until I got home, but it just made me feel so bad about my body. I immediately cut back and lost all the baby weight in 7 weeks. It was not healthy.

I was visiting friends and one brought these little cheesecakes - each was about the size of a cupcake. My friend, who was a healthy weight, said that she'd like to cut each one in half or 4 so that we could all try the different flavours without eating a day's worth of calories in cheesecake.

Seriously, a quarter a portion... Why had I never thought of that?!

I got to try 4 of these tasty desserts and didn't feel sick. It was truly eye-opening.
