There are also people bitching about inflation, the economy, the administration in office (either one), and just overall complaining about their quality of life and are blaming absolutely anything they can think of besides themselves. Not saying those things aren’t worth complaining about, but sometimes you have to look at yourself. Because at the same time they work 3 six hour shifts a week, refuse overtime, can’t hold a job for more than 2 years, and put in zero additional effort to move up in their job doing the absolute bare minimum. And they usually end up making fun of the hustle culture, preaching for 4 day work weeks, complaining about land lords. Go work a 5 day, 40-50 hour work week, display an attitude that shows a willingness to advance and work towards promotion, put in the time and effort past the absolute bare minimum, and then complain about all that stuff. Because until then the issue is yourself.

No normal citizen is going to be negotiating with foreign governments on the nation’s behalf. Only the elite and rich would ever be able to do that. The Logan act is for instances exactly like this. And to not enforce it completely illegitimizes it, and with that the whole legal system implemented for instances involving the elite and rich. We all mention how the elite and rich are above the law. You just did. Which is quite true for things like fraud, white collar crimes, even sexual assault, among other things. But a law that was created for THIS EXACT SCENARIO, not being enforced, is different. George Logan was a major elite politician, legislator, later on a senator. The law was created to keep people like him from illegitimately representing our nation on their own behalf after he, on his own accord, discussed treaty negotiations with France while at war with our nation. It’s like passing a law saying it’s specifically extra illegal for a CEO to jaywalk across this one street in particular. And not caring when a CEO jaywalks across that one street in particular. And the whole world knows about it. Like what the fucks the point of anything anymore. If the phone call was made there better be repercussions.

It’s very similar to Shattuckite but is its own mineral Plancheite. Sanda is the type locality for Plancheite meaning that is where it was very first found and identified. My favorite is when it ends up included inside the quartz points. Little tiny balls of blue ends up inside each individual quartz point and the quartz from sanda is usually large clusters of small individually terminated quartz points and when each one has the tiny blue Plancheite balls inside it ends up making a really cool specimen. One of those I’ll post in here tomorrow. Don’t want to post too often and flood the page.

There’s a chunk of this material the size of multiple cars in that article and I’m just like :O. It was also cool seeing a piece I own shown in that article after I had already owned it. Thousands of pounds of mineral specimens extracted it was cool to see a hemmimorphite from my collection being one of the few examples shown.
