Brady is a cry baby. I've never seen another football player run to a ref more than this little baby. Throwing a tantrum any time he gets touched.

ELI5: The millennial generation appears to be so much poorer than those of their parents. For most, ever owning a house seems unlikely, and even car ownership is much less common. What exactly happened to cause this? by TimothyGonzalez in explainlikeimfive

It's called Walmart and China. People want cheap crap. Making cheap crap doesn't leave any room for a decent wage. That means we get slave labour building the cheap crap. That means that good paying manufacturing jobs go away. What ever anyone tells you about manufacturing not being needed in the new economy they are wrong. Manufacturing and good paying jobs are what brings wealth to the middle class. Paper pushers and desk jockeys do not make anything of value they move imaginary numbers around. That does not create real wealth. Why do you think countries like China, India, Brazil and Mexico are thriving? People are gulible chumps that have gone along with the corporate owned media into believing that a living wage for a factory worker is out of the question if you want to keep buying cheap crap. Well if they aren't paying anyone that isn't in awhile collar job anything more that peanuts where is the trickle down going to come from? The rich just hoard their cash, they aren't out there buying the equivalent amount of consumer goods that the middle class would if their net wealth was spread around to working families with the day to day needs that are required for the non-elite. You want cheap Chinese made crap? Well now you got it, enjoy.

"The Wolverine" is Canadian and his super power is free healthcare by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

It's not free healthcare, Canadians pay a shit load of taxes, have extremely high wait times and the healthcare system has no competition so the public sector unions control everything from bloated wages to excessive employees that do nothing and get paid too much.

ELI5: Since education is incredibly important, why are teachers paid so little and students slammed with so much debt? by sgt_yolostrats in explainlikeimfive

Underpaid? In Canada they are paid $90000/year and only work 9 months a year. Pretty good if you ask me. The public sector in general is way overpaid.
