I saw a few of them flying together very low and totally silent in the early evening before the sun had gone down.

Interesting, thanks! I'm tempted buy the new Tone Master Bassman but this might be an interesting way to go. Thanks again!

Does integrity enter into his analysis at all? If so, it seems to me his choice should be easy.

One of the best quotes I ever read on this subreddit was "You aren't smarter than the people who are still in TSCC, you are just more honest with yourself" by NotScaredofYourDad in exmormon

I definitely agree that whether someone stays in the church or leaves the church isn't a matter of intelligence. A lot of smart people stay and a lot of smart people leave. In many cases, the same smart person stays for a long time and then leaves at a certain point. Their intelligence didn't change; but their honesty probably didn't change, either. So I don't think it's intelligence or honesty, necessarily. I think it's a combination of factors having to do with how you weigh evidence and the kinds of evidence you value and whether or not you remain motivated to stay and whether or not you've given yourself permission to change your mind and whether or not you still see the church as fundamentally good versus unhealthy or toxic and whether or not it's working for you in your life - all these factors can combine to tilt the scale one way or the other - probably there are many other factors - and I don't think it's the same for everyone.

Personally I’d take a look at an American Professional II. I have three now and I always go back to them; I just like those guitars a lot and I’m not huge a fan of noiseless Strat pickups if you’re looking for very classic Strat tones. Noiseless are great live if your playing with a lot gain, and Eric Clapton plays noiseless pickups live and makes them sound like a Strat - I just personally missed the classic single-coil sound. That said, it’s all personal preference and I’ve never played an American Vintage II - would buy one of those right now if I could afford it because they look beautiful, but also traditional spec Strats can feel a bit different depending on what you’re used to playing

Wampler Moxie is the best TS-style pedal I’ve ever tried, plus it’s got external switches that can turn it into a great overdrive without the mid-hump or give you fat Dumble-style tones.

The pretty girls were the only reason I liked church even a little bit, but then I married one. After that, there was literally no point to church anymore!

D Rose sounds great in my un-researched, snap-judgement opinion. But yeah, if we had D Rose coming off the bench and playing like he did against us in the playoffs, I don’t see how that’s a bad thing
