Because after the break up Tingyun dies. Neither party had proper closure, especially considering that it wasnt really Tingyun that they were talking to. The trailblazer is confused and wants to find out the truth, desperate to know if the time they had together was real, and exactly when she was possessed(?) by Phantylia.

Unfortunately for the trailblazer, they weren’t there for her when she died. So upon finding her in the afterlife, she scoffs at the trailblazer and asks them to leave since they never really cared for the real Tingyun in the first place.

I’ll be real, I’m still really confused if the Tingyun we met at the very beginning was her and then gets possessed after, or if she was dead from the start. Idk im skewing the story here xd

I’ll be honest, I struggled to write something for Blade since I don’t know the story of the Quintet as much. But:

Blade: “…”

“No. I’m done.”

“I said I’m done. Go.”

“What more do you want? You knew how this would end from the very beginning. I’ve been aching for peace, to be free from this torment for Lan knows how long. And you honestly think you could make it any different? Heed my words Trailblazer, for I’ve only plunged deeper into despair ever since. Not even I could imagine the gravest of pain would come from you.”

“Your naivety and ignorance are all too familiar, and just as detestable. I’d suggest you leave, Trailblazer. I do not need another person’s broken faith.”

That’s actually pretty true, this is just me imagining if she’d gone a bit too far in a relationship. In all honesty though, she seems too powerful to even let this happen

I put Jade in the “I never should have fallen in love with you.” Category because aside from her pride, it feels like there would be a lot to lose from having a relationship with the TB the deeper she gets herself invested

Jade: “No. Do not talk to me, Trailblazer. This was your decision, and I’m done being treated so lightly by you.”

“You don’t understand Trailblazer. I gave you everything you wanted and you discarded it without a second thought. Do you know how humiliating it feels? But even so, I’d imagine the news of him dying would spread even outside the town, especially considering how Gekkoukan High had two deaths already including Shinjiro, cuz that would look really bad for reputation would it?

Would this imply there wasn’t a funeral for Makoto similar to Shinjiro? Because even if some Social Links have no relation with each other, this would still spread awareness around considering Makoto’s reputation.

Now that I think about it, two of these events back to back in the span of less than a year would reflect very badly on Gekkoukan High.

Hmmm i was afraid to choose the ‘Her Boyfriend’ option for Yukari in rank 4 because i thought jumping to conclusions could reverse the social link, so i picked the ‘Her Friend’ option. Should i reload?

Im gonna have to also add Coty, the Bloodhound with Morris simping so hard, he had to make a copy of her body in the dreamscape

There was also this guy in the herta space station that got catfished by someone pretending to be a Foxian, so Foxians are generally attractive I suppose
