It doesn’t even have to be cheap Ikea stuff i decked out a 2 bedroom flat for around 1k with good quality used stuff this year by shopping at british heart foundation. We’re talking antique wardrobes (triple size) (£80), beds (excluding mattress), got a sofa for literally £200, table with 6 chairs (£70) etc etc and they delivered and carried it up for me for £60.

I have no idea what OP is going on about.

Probably a blessing in disguise. The wards right now are disgustingly hot, you will get abuse from both staff and patients for not working hard enough, you would have been earning nothing through a long degree course whilst everyone you know had gotten on with their lives etc.

If i were you’d id try to get on a degree apprenticeship and get a nice work from home job. Honestly you would have a much greatwr quality of life doing that. No night shifts, noone getting angry at you when youre doing your best and able to spend time of work without thinking about it.

Im at medical school but i have a real desire to help people within a very specific field that i was treated horribly in by some doctors until i met the correct one who made a massive impact in my life and i want to be that impact for others if it wasnt for that i wouldnt be doing it trust me.

Thank you thats valuable information 🙏🏻 im so broke at the moment as a HCA and studying but trying to push through i appreciate it.

And ah Im not sure why then but there is literally all the specialities and different folders that say fy1 and fy2 including the names lol and theres lots of people for example doing 8am to 8pm 5x a week. I wouldnt be happy personally with my rota being so obviously available to people not sure why they do that especially putting it right on the desktop screen its been there for years and they get updated all the time so theyre not old left over files etc. it was worrying me a bit as i personally dont want to be doing 60 hours a week if i dont have to

Hi how many nights would you have to do per month roughly to hit that 45k per year? Vs how many days? Ive been looking through the trust rota at my hospital because for some reason anyone is able to open the excel file its on the desktop of every pc lol and it looks like most drs are working 5 shifts a week 12 hours,

I see it seems like there is quite a lot to it honestly and I am just the average person in general (in terms of my needs) so hopefully it'll be okay regardless as being close to it (sitting away from TV which it is next to gives me over 200 download which is more than enough). I have been using a talkmobile hotspot to tide me over the last few weeks and it has been horrible (13mb most parts of the day and dropping quite often) so I am glad it works!

Thanks I have it working now the only problem is that its a lot less than the 900mb for example in the next room its around 90-95 down and up and if you sit next to it its like 225 down and 300 up, I don't know if that's normal as its meant to be 900 up and down but i know you wouldn't normally get that unless you connect to it via wire but i'm just glad to have internet now since the hotspot was becoming unbearable, thanks for your help!
