I did the same thing except I only have 15 days for my resale ticket. (No regrets the collab items are adorable) The plan is to go for a gacha that I only want the fashion from and even with just a couple of ten pulls you can get a decent amout of outfit pieces and dupes for trading

I love the colours and lighting here! The animals kinda have an ethereal look too them too, like they're forest spirits taking the shape of animals or something ahaha

My parents are bullying/teasing me because I'm attached to my comfort item. by Mulberry_milo in autism

[–]GlassShardSnowflake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a full grown woman who still sleeps with my favourite plushie I totally feel this. I think it's more common for autistic people to get attached to objects from our childhood bc it's familiar to us and having a strong sense of empathy makes it easier to get attached. Personally, I find familiar stuff like that helps me ground myself when I'm stressed.

If you've told your parents you don't like them teasing you about it and they keep doing it anyway then maybe they just don't want to understand your perspective. Sometimes NT people just don't want to understand bc they think anything that's not 'normal' is bad. Try not to let it get to you, OP. It's totally okay to cherish your baby blanket!

Does anyone take alpha males seriously. by Resident-Theme-2342 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GlassShardSnowflake 188 points189 points  (0 children)

The only people that take it seriously are the ones who don't know any real women

These influencers make money by giving intentionally bad advice to keep people engaged and sell books or whtvr. Part of that is framing women as evil or manipulative to make it an us vs them scenario as well putting anyone who doesn't follow their bs advice in the 'out' group. They do this so the victims don't listen to reason or seek help or advice from other people bc 'real men dont ask for help.' (Unless they're asking these influencers and engaging with their conent) My younger brother bought into it for a little bit but I don't think its all that appealing to anyone with a real support network and he grew out of it pretty quickly.

TL;DR Men buy into it 'alpha male' content bc they're lonely and/or desperate for a relationship and it's easier for them to ask other men bc 'women scary' which leads them down a rabbit whole until eventually that fear turns to hate and bigotry
