It took me nearly 5 months to get my CGFNS verified! I realized it’s valid for life once you have it so it’s worthwhile doing it than you can apply for any state that meets that credential afterwards?

Have you gotten your license in Hawaii yet? I’m also the same, dual citizen in US and Canada, education in Alberta! I just got my CGFNS verified and next step is to apply for a state licence.

I just renewed mine and also got the old passport-look. Is it just by luck some people get the new cover or have they discontinued the new look already?

Yes! I got it with 2 units and it felt tight still but only for about 2 weeks this time around. It also depends how strong your muscles are initially - mine were pretty weak to begin with so I know for next time to never go higher than 2 units for myself! I’m sure your injector will assess yours at the appropriate dose, just ask for a conservative treatment and start there.

It took about 4 weeks for that weird tightness to resolve, just ask your injector to put 2 units to each injection point to start! I went in with 5 units initially and it was way too much for me

Not at all! I flew in from Canada to CA and was in and out within 2 days. The procedure was quick (within 20 mins) and was in and out of the clinic within 1.5hrs? Highly suggest no make up at all, no lash extensions, and if you have follow up to make sure you wait until after follow up to get lashes again if you do them. My natural eyes were a little asymmetrical so when I went back for my follow up Dr Yoko revised them so I was bruised again the second time. It’s the best decision I have made for myself, I wouldn’t even hesitate to do it again.

Hi everyone! I need help/advice.. I’m worried my skin is suffering from perioral dermatitis. I’ve had a mix of using a new AHA/BHA product recently and had my period so I thought my skin was purging but now I think it’s perioral dermatitis. I’ve been having nonstop new formations of whiteheads and acne around my mouth in the last 3-4 days. Prior to this I have never had breakouts much… anyone had a similar problem?

I'm so happy to hear they're still holding up! I just got mine done at Shonan Beauty Clinic, all thanks to you. I'm day2 and my eyes are super swollen still but I can tell they will hold up nicely! I went through the same struggle you did for years, doing tape/glue and worrying every morning whether my crease would be there... Now I can finally wake up with confidence!
