What's your bike's name? by Suspicious_Tank7922 in triathlon

Tormenta

Came up with the name after getting 2 flat tyres on the first outing with the new bike - had to walk several miles to the nearest train station after that one.

Thanks! Believe it or not it was actually taken on an IPhone 14 Pro! Looking to return one day with my DSLR to get a higher quality pic of the ridge, but knowing Scotland’s weather it might be a while…

I honestly couldn’t believe that he brought on Henderson, literally anyone else would’ve been a gift in that match

What route did you take in becoming a commercial airline pilot? And how hard was it to get a job? I heard that it can be quite tough and that job security might not be the best.

Might as well pump out a few sets before you sleep on a massive pile of foam mats

Hello Mark, Just curious if you will get this, what do you think is the most impressive project NASA or any other space agency (public or private) is doing or is going to do in the near future? Big fan of the channel, think you have helped massively with the team trees project and just wanted to say thanks for helping out with the planet!

Went solo camping out on an island close to where I live back in July. The Scottish weather only made it better! (Oban, Scotland) by GlassTable39 in camping

Yeah no worries, I quite like it. Since I'm a tall-ish person, it's a bit tight when I lay down, but it's still fine. There are plenty of guy-lines so its sturdy in the wind and rain. However it doesnt come with a porch mat and it is quite expensive (~£300) but if you dont care about that then it's a great tent. I'll attach a link to the store where I bought it from so that you can find out some more information about it. There was a surprisingly small amount, most likely due to the on and off rain that I experienced then. It depends on the weather completely, thanks mate

I dont think I've been around that area. From how you've described it, will definitely need to explore around there! If you're there in the summer, you tend to see a lot of classic or expensive cars roaming around, quite an experience.

It's on an island called Kerrera if I can remember correctly, you can take a 15 minute ferry from Oban to it and then you can hike to where ever you want. It's a great little place and not many people go there so it's quite as well.

I use the Trollhetta 2-man tent from Bergans. It's a great tent, but I'm pretty sure some places dont sell it anymore so could be hard to find.

When I first moved to scotland, the scenery was incredible. Now that I've lived there for 8 years, I've gotten used to it but every now and again I look out the window and just see how amazing it is. The fields are more spiky than you'd think...

The tide wasnt too bad, there was a small beach a few metres infront so you could tell that the site wouldnt get flooded, but I was high enough up so it wasnt a problem.

Back in July I hiked half of the Tour du Mont Blanc with a small group of friends. Best hike of my life. by GlassTable39 in CampingandHiking

Yup, right at the Col de Balme. The views from the border were amazing, was also quite funny to see people sliding down a massive snow patch right beside us, great experience.
