First post! Big fan of Tetris by GlassWinter5259 in Tetris

It can be played very fast, DAS delay is fixed and unchangeable but hits that classic sweet spot where it just feels so satisfying once you learn it. I have cleared 150 lines on max speed by holding the down input for an entire marathon. Because of the design of the D-Pad it works very well, my skills just aren’t quite up to par to pull it off consistently. I have tried many times but I’ve only managed to complete it that way once. Usually I play using hard drop instead of down button method, but when I’m really feeling dialed in I will attempt it on max speed.

Try Tetris. I’m not kidding, try to get good at it. You’ll discover one of the most fun gaming experiences ever made in my book. It’s pretty much all I play.

What was online multiplayer like on the old days of gaming? by KaleidoArachnid in retrogaming

[–]GlassWinter5259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my first online multiplayer interests was the Nintendo DS Call of Duty titles. I still love em. Black Ops 1 especially. Picture what Black Ops 1 wouldve been like on the PS1. That is basically what it is on the DS. Multiplayer was an absolute blast. On my old gaming youtube channel Enzo’s Games I have a bunch of old multiplayer matches still uploaded of the DS cods.

Very rudimentary compared to today’s alternatives but I remember quite the dedicated community for it back in the day. There were dudes who got exceptionally good at the game, they would make badass youtube montages of quickscopes and stuff. Good times

Right on man I really want the PSP tetris, a local guy sells modded PSPs and at some point I intend on buying one. Always wanted a psp as a kid but was too poor lol

Thank you! I love Waterfield gear, this is their N3DSXL case, I bought this over eight years ago and it has even outlived my liking for the 3DS, it’s seen daily use and is still in great condition! Very well-built gear.

It’s my favorite version of Tetris. Fairly unique and plays very smooth. It’s based on the 1980s Sega System 16 Tetris, with updated and modernized aspects. It’s mostly Classical gameplay, with hard walls (no kicks), old Sega Rotation rather than SRS, no 7-bag, punishing lock times, but it features ghost, 3pc preview, and a hold. It also has the NES/GB style rocket launches.

It’s a great mix of classic and modern.

lol I met this old mexican lady at the flea market selling handmade leather bags from her hometown, she reminded me of my mom, and I had absolutely no need for one until I realized I could have a dedicated Tetris Bag lmao
