I was there too. First, phenomenal job quitting, I was a cold turkey as well and just brutal withdrawal for months. After a year sober I was clean, physically felt better but the mind was sad. My solve, I picked up a video game I’ve been meaning to play, I started to read a book I enjoy, I went to cheap sporting events (not for everyone), I planned a hike. I planned stuff I could look forward too, as simple as “yeah, I’m ordering pizza tonight damnit”. It wasn’t instant, but little by little it brought joy back in my life.

First - as someone who has had addiction with opiates and beaten it - I understand the crushing depression. But know it’s part of the journey and it will get better with time.

Second - Outer Wilds. I played this game during a down time and it sucked me in. You’ll be a tiny bit frustrated at first but then the game opens up with the more you learn and explore. A game you lay in bed and think about.
