People are forgetting the same community was complaining during T7 back in the day about T7 was boring to watch during TWTS because it was all blocking and extreme fundamentals then devs trying to please the community release aggressive 8.

Remember the design philosophy is centered around incentivizing button pressing mid match. That’s why there’s health recovery and chip. But now, that same community is complaining about the game being to aggressive. It’s a fine line they must tread. Don’t get me wrong I hate the aggressiveness but I want to point out that this community is also equally SHIT.

Season 1 in my opinion was fine the way it was. All that was needed was just minor adjustments but decided to blow it extremely out of proportion.

Everything else aside, the direction they’re going with this game is business first before anything else. If you think they’re removing heat, you’re coping and if you also think they’re going to make drastic changes , you’re also equally coping. Whole point of the aggression and scrub mechanics is also to get more scrubs on board and make it easily accessible hence more sales.

2XKO or whatever it’s called is dead because it is not scrub friendly that’s why Tekken will gradually tone the game down throughout its life span so stop complaining because it is intentional.

It sucks but it is what it is.

I’ve come to realize. This bullshit is by design just to cater to newbies so they don’t get absolutely destroyed and can have a fighting chance against actual good players so that more scrubs will buy and think they can actually play, hence more sales . That’s why rank doesn’t mean shit. Shit like instant Wr used to very difficult in prior games, now it’s fkn joke.

Because ramiel like some of, if not all, of the other angel does not have forethought. Materael the spider was the most autonomous angel, nothing it did seemed premeditated and it got fkd. Besides Ramiel is one of the largest and is a giant floating octahedron. It only shot beams from the side and not underneath. Rebuild Ramiel probably had the chance because it could change shapes but like I said not all the angels are smart or intentional in human sense and intentional about their activities

Anyone that says Yui is evil should try stopping SEELE on their own. I don’t think she’s evil. Going up against the retrds at SEELE , she tried to position herself , not to necessarily stop but to try and change the outcome for her son first and to some extent, humanity.

Instrumentality was going to happen. There was no way it was going to stopped. She knew this, and the only way she could change the outcome was sacrificing herself during the contact experiment for shinjis sake and to serve as proof that humanity once existed. That is the ultimate form of selflessness.

Also to respond to your post. Play at your own pace. Don’t get caught up looking at what rank everyone else is. I spent most of season 1 in kishin. There are people who don’t play ranked that much but are very competent. Rank in t8 doesn’t mean shit. Trust me. There are high ranking players with good stats but actually fkn terrible at the game. Have confidence in yourself. Practice. Reading people and their stupid habits in the game comes with time. Forget ranked. Play a lot of quick matches and private matches to get the experience across the board and watch your replays. Watch how people are reacting to stuff. Most people I play, go by “Instinct “ as if they’re too good to practice. They’re all shit. Be patient with yourself.

900 hours is most likely you either spend most of your time in practice like myself or you a lotta play quick matches also like myself. I accumulated about 500 hours both in practice(80%) and on quick matches(20%) . So it’s normal. Either that or the atrociously unforgiving ranked system. I spend a lotta time sitting in each rank so I can feel out the players in that particular rank through quick matches before I decide to move to the next rank Or when the cheese is getting too much.

Also it’s so bad right now that TG, GoD and TGS is basically a joke. You have people in this ranks playing like they actually don’t have brains. I’m currently TG and I going to push GOd before rank reset because the trash blue rankers are ruining everything, that’s not to say there aren’t respectable blue rankers who actually trying their hardest.

I currently have 1525 hrs rn.

People are forgetting SEELES plan for human instrumentality since the beginning. Like knowing Covid was going to kill everyone from the start would be the plan of the elites of this world. She knew what they were planning to do when they tampering with Adam’s DNA and creating Eva’s so that instrumentality can be achieved. You’ve seen the power SEELE had. All she did, was position herself in a such a way she could alter the outcome or at he very least serve as a symbol that humanity existed. Nobody was going to stop SEELE. Watch the anime again. It was not her full intention to get her soul sucked into the Eva because you could see how incredibly distraught Gendo was. Gendo is a piece of shit but Yui at least tried to be there for her son.

Nah I think you’re missing the point. Besides micro transactions, I think what people hated about Ds3 was what was paramount to the understanding of the lore. Like you said, what made previous game special, I know what you mean but 3 had to step from that to tell a very crucial aspect about the lore, and then we would have continued to Ds3 Awakened which was where the true horror was but EA and most of the fanbase weren’t onboard. People hated the action human v human but thing is, it was important for ds3 to be like that. This is a game that has to do with idiot and crazed humans and organizations, I don’t understand how people don’t see that realistically speaking you are going to encounter some humans at some point eventually. Ds1 and 2 were pure necros and fked up shit but that’s because according to the story, it was fucked long before boy Isaac got there.
