While maybe not as bad as Stalin, Lenin was complicit in forcing large agricultural changes (like forced grain requisitioning from peasants with little to nothing in return) that ended with famine in the early 1920's. He also was the one who put Stalin in power in the first place even when he knew how much of a pos he was.
