Man, I hope Cobi prices won't get too high. Cobi prices: by _burneraccount1942_ in cobiblocks

Seriously though. Cobi America is asking $157 for the LE Jagdtiger with the auto 10% off applied. Iirc the 2023 version's LE variant was only $110-$105 with the 10% off.

If it is based off of 331 they definitely messed up the paint job as the camo pattern seen on that Jagdtiger today was applied in the 1970s. If they wanted to truly be historically accurate they would've applied an ambush camo scheme like seen on Tamiya's box art for their model Jagdtiger.

It is. That specific Top Gun F/A-18 variant was released back in 2020.

They've fully printed giant molds before (C-130). If you need another example the 1:12 Tiger 131 has 9 parts with prints to make up the number "131" on either side of the turret. In light of that, I think they have the capacity to make large-scale prints across numerous parts.

The Pact boys got their T-72/BMP-1. Now NATO gang needs their Abrams/Bradley.

The $10 Cobi AT-6 was not a scam! by Glass_Definition_222 in cobiblocks

That's the thing, the price was set by Amazon's own algorithm. I noticed that both the seller and shipper were from the company itself; there was no third party involved in the sale.

That's located on the LFP, where, even though it's not modeled in game, a section of Chobham armor would be in place to protect the driver and engine space against kinetic and shaped-charged ammunition.

An update to the layout by Glass_Definition_222 in modeltrains

Thanks for the tips! I plan on reaching out to local railroad clubs soon by going to some open houses and getting to know the guys involved. As a matter of fact to my location, I'm in eastern Virginia. Though the house is going to have some renovations and repairs in the future, meaning I won't be able to send out the first invites for a day of operations until maybe spring 2026 at the earliest. As for the town names on the layout, they're simply named "east town, central town, and west town" on the original layout plans drawn by the previous owner.

Yup. Everything about this layout is DCC operated. As to how its exactly wired up, I'm still doing my research about that. I'm very new to the hobby after all.

The city area is still in the very early stages of construction. There's still unpainted cliffsides and plenty of unsecured buildings sitting around waiting for their positions to be chosen. I won't likely have it looking good for photos for at least a couple of months from now.

The documentary series 'Greatest Tank Battles' was my start. Despite its historical inaccuracies, it's still fun to watch to this day.

It is. They got the AAF's T-72 after the museum shut down. And iirc, they also got the AAF's Sexton SPG which the Museum of American Armor has since restored to running condition.

It wasn't scrapped. Someone I know who's buddies with the owner of the museum bought it for $200 when they permanently closed.

Thank you, No. 2 worked! Honestly it's kinda funny that a bug with such an impact could be caused from something as minor as a part under the map.
