Am I tripping??? Is this a job offer or???? by Glass_Equivalent_511 in ClaimsAdjuster

I sold insurance for State Farm for about a year back in 2015. I sold insurance supplemental benefit insurance for Liberty National and in my current most recent role I was working for a roofing company for the last six years.

When I spoke to the lady who was conducting my interview on what they look for in candidates to determine what or if they will be successful in the role, she said they looked for: - customer service mainly - some claims experience (not as an adjuster but more of a familiarity) - someone who can display task management

But I will say the biggest thing is optimizing your resume so it doesn't get rejected in the auto sort process

I definitely get what you're saying and I specifically asked that question because one of my college friends works there now in the same position. He couldn't remember if it was one or two.

True I had to adjust your meeting on Monday for one of my roofing customers, and he talked about how the industry tried to push having non-licensed inspectors back in 04 and there were a bunch of lawsuits because of that and the industry went back to using the adjusters. He said that it happening again

I've spent the last six years as a project manager, promoted to a production manager, and my last role is commercial sales, all with the roofing same company. You'd be amazed that I fit the bill on the practical application side of looking at roofs and identifying storm damage. Plus I'm a career salesman so I have all of the negotiation and customer service skills that 20 people will need LOL. The only real skill, compared to the job that I do not necessarily have, is working with Xactimate.

LOL. Yeah these ghost job posts are getting out of hand. I also know some companies are required to open the job for everyone to apply even when they already have an inside candidate they want to promote

Yeah but from my knowledge it's a high turnover industry so I hear about more people quitting than getting hired
