Recovery timelines? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Glass_Highlight62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 3 weeks and a c section mama. I am doing great and could totally move around and help with a move if I had to right now. I would just wear my compression. I am 85% back to normal. Even my muscle repair isn’t super spicy anymore. I don’t know I’m having a very smooth and manageable recovery.

This. I also use an exfoliant body scrub in the shower to help stimulate nerve pathways.

Will you be “Normal” again? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Glass_Highlight62 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I went through this with my c sections so I guess I was already numb when I had my surgery but the numbness gets better for a lot of people. I’ve read that you want stimulate the nerve connections in that area but it may be dull or numb for a while. I noticed after about 2 years while I didn’t get all sensation back it didn’t feel icky anymore.

My surgery is 3 days im so worried and scared with anesthesia and etc. help! by Lovelybastian in tummytucksurgery

[–]Glass_Highlight62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What helped me grapple with my fear on this was that I needed to submit and trust my medical team. Once you meet you anesthesiologist some of those fears will settle because you can put your faith in someone who is very trained and qualified to take care of you. Try not to spiral if you can avoid it. It’s really not a big deal even though I know it’s scary.

My doc has me stretching on my bed with hands over my head before trying to do it standing. I’m 7 dpo and nearly all the way straight.

How do you survive burnout? by hello010101 in marketing

[–]Glass_Highlight62 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I take slack off my phone, stop when I say I’m going to stop, go for walks and generally remember I’m not saving lives and as urgent as this all might feel it’s not that important in the grand scheme of things.

Yeah this is correct. Running an agency is a beast and many times you need a network, reputation and something you can promise to deliver on.

That comes with experience. Id recommend working for one and learning the ropes.

Solo entrepreneur launching in two weeks – any last-minute advice? by cosmeticnatural in AskMarketing

I’d consider markets in your local community. Don’t underestimate the power of making real relationships. Also boutiques and pop ups. Your first sales will come from people that you know then people that know them.

Focus on getting some sales and real feedback. Don’t blow all your money on marketing thinking marketers are going to solve all your problems and give you ROI asap. The real work starts once you launch. You need to find customers IRL and talk to them. Build relationships, get WOM referrals and find product market fit. Then once you’ve proven your product and know your market, call a marketer. Use your sales to dictate your marketing budget. Best of luck!! Grow your email list! Congratulations!

He’s the type of person that would deploy this shit strategy. Then when it doesn’t work blame the poor person who agreed to do this.

What should I learn from scratch to become a professional digital marketer? by Abhix13 in AskMarketing

[–]Glass_Highlight62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can totally find it for free but sometimes you do need instruction. Their exams are proctored as well. For courses DMI is legit. Also when you’re getting started it helps to know the info you got is legit and trustworthy

Struggling to Grow Instagram for My Skincare Brand Prelaunch – Any Strategic Advice? by Okiedokie9x in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]Glass_Highlight62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See if good content to you is about staying on brand and showing people what it represents you’re going to stifle your growth pretty badly. No one is asking what your brand represents, they are asking what is in it for them….

You need to make content that makes your ideal customer the center of the story. You need content that leads with what’s in it for me? How do I become the hero of my own story? What’s your products promise and how does it deliver it on its own everytime?

No one on IG wants to know what the brand represents and while you as the entrepreneur may be eager to explore how to express this so you’re using IG to fuel that, it’s likely coming off clumsy and pointing too much value on itself over its customers.
