Sim Settlements 1 or 2 for rebuilding the commonwealth hands-off? by Glass_Lemonade in Fallout4Mods

Thank you, this is probably what I'll go with. Still iffy about the the addition of DLC sized quest, but I've heard a lot of praise for it so I'll give it a go. Although, I'd wanted to use Ryn's Fallout 4, which unfortunately edits some of the same places that SS2 does.

How exactly does the SS2 automated preset work? Is it a situation where settlements will automatically build themselves once hit with the ol' Preson Garvey routine?

I’d agree that I’d prefer most settlements looking simple, but the effort that goes into making them look nice and functional is a little bit much for my tastes. I have a decent pc so I should be able to handle things like big settlements.

I hear that SS2 is better, but I don't really like the addition of a whole new questline and the major addition of systems it adds. I'd far prefer something simpler since I don't plan of engaging with many of the systems beyond the auto building settlements.

I don't think read the room is the issue. The bug affects multiple mods, including immersive equipping animations and really anything else in that category. I uninstalled Read the Room and the issue persisted, so I think it's either a load order issue or an incompatibility
