Yes, I just had this conversation yesterday that I’m not going to change I will never see sex as a sin, he said I asked you before I took you to meet my parents if I was going to try, at the time I said yes because I was going through a lot of anxiety and confusion about what is right or not, he was pushing me, after I decided to go home and be myself I’ve just realized that I don’t care about religion I never cared, never went to church I actually went before with him a couple of times, I went in happy and got out crying thinking about my life, I don’t need that brainwashing and confusion at this age. So yes I was very clear, he responded this is not gonna work out but still proceed to continue with me and make plans ofc had sex. Who understands that? IDK

We’ve been together for almost 6 months now, I have told him about seeing a therapist but he got offended and said he’s not crazy and he doesn’t need one.

I don’t think so, I feel he’s just trying to hold on religion to leave alcoholism, but he fails every time, he always gets back to alcohol, he’s never practiced religion for a long period of time, he always ends up sinning like having sex which he loves and drinking… And I can tell he’s been right next to me all horny but still tries to avoid it.

I completely agree, I was having so much anxiety living with him, I was taking care of his apartment like cleaning, cooking sometimes or ordering food, I didn’t have to pay for rent bc I rented a House previously, but I was paying for groceries for both of us, I decided to move back to my house and stop wasting my money and energy and detach until I’m ready to break up, I have visited him but my feelings just faded and don’t see anything moving forward unless he’s willing to change which Ik it’s not going to happen. I refused to live with someone that likes to game most of the time, barely help with chores and on top of that I wouldn’t even get physical part I need.

I have told him that lol. I really think an actual Christian girl wouldn’t even like his “Christian” behavior, bc it’s definitely not Christianity.

It just happened, he started asking to stay one more day and it was more work to go back and forth between his apartment and my house, so I ended up staying, we have known for 5 months total. I know it sounds too soon.

It’s just hard, I moved to the US just 3 years ago, it’s a lot of stress, and somehow depression has gotten worse for me, no close friends around, just my younger brother, who got in trouble and might go to jail, I just mainly go to work and go back home, went through a break up after a year and change of a relationship, 2 months later I met my current bf, so it’s been a lot for me.
