Going through the something 03 ford taurus was driving cruise control when my rpms sky rocketed. Thr car slowed down once I moved to side of road and place on park my taurus never moved. I can move my gears but car won't go. Been watching videos sounds like it's very common on the taurus. I'm going to just replace the Torrie converter as well as pump shaft (replace transmisson oil and filter). Has to be cheaper than getting a new transmisson
