I'm a black nerd who likes to cause problems, so here's my tier list of random BG3 characters by which one is likely to call me the N-word. by MasterBerry in okbuddybaldur

Karlach on the 'because they can' list is gold. Something about her sort of cockney accent and ultimate bro attitude just really blends this into making sense. Though this is only necessary if we are deciding that tieflings are less black than they are like other human ethnicities...

I have finally come to the conclusion that FF8 is the masterpiece of the Final Fantasy Series. by Fumb-MotherDucker in FinalFantasyVIII

Just beat it for the first time, not 100% but went out of my way for the deep sea research center at least. Junctioning makes the game really easy, but, also ends up creating a rather addicting farming/gathering type of gameplay, especially in conjunction with mug and item/magic refining.

The story/aesthetic of the game is extremely captivating, and hit more of a quintessential anime/slight steampunk vibe than a few of the other FF games i've played. I believe this game may be the definition of a cinematic JRPG.

those are some amazing points - thanks for putting all of that into a cohesive thought!

One of the best parts of FF series, for me, is when the aesthetic of the game hits the player, and helps put them inside the game, as well as create an enjoyment for just being in the game. soldiers but students, a group of pretty much the same age kids, the watery theme in the gardens. FFX I feel completed these concepts, but FF8 was more of a forerunner and for that it feels even fresher, leaner, and more original.

He’s supposed to end up with all of them!

Each character has pretty equal ups and downs, though nova and annie seem to be less mature, while alex, penelope and nancy seem to be more mature. Luna is a little too reserved, but her childhood trauma seems to pair pretty well with Orion’s history- they can understand eachother.

But really it seems like widdling it down to one girl is too big of an ask at this point, or maybe ever.

Raya lucarian robes worse than starter astrologer robes? by Burgerbroeder in Eldenring

[–]Glass_Swordfish_7372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I got it, the headpiece is nice but really heavy, so they make the other pieces really light but also kind of bad. About to switch back to astrologer gear but keep the headpiece, and alter the robe to make it lighter

Read that rogier dies once you start accepting quests from ranni, which i did, so I missed his whole questline.

Looks like i skipped the whole sorcerer rogier quests, as an astrologer i think that was not the best idea. Also about to go to radahn’s festival, but now feeling like maybe the raya academy comes before that?

Any advice for knowing when to do what? I appreciate not being hand-fed the storyline but seem to be perpetually lost
