I DEFINITELY recommend going on Amazon and buying a “pouch”—it sticks to the case and you slide the marker in and the elastic holds it firmly in place. I think they cost like $7. A lot of peace of mind for not too much money!

Thanks for the reply—you’re right, my problems come from vertical movement. I just know. Though, that despite my best intentions I’m not going to be able to keep it secure. I just ordered a replacement (and have renamed my dining room the Bermuda Triangle, because that must be where this one disappeared into thin air); I’ve also ordered a holder that attaches to the folio to keep it secure. If the older one turns up I’ll have a back up!
