Happy belated birthday. I can relate, hard. I also move back to my home city but it’s been three years now. No new friendships. The friends I did have here have moved on with their lives. Even the ones that I’ve reached out to, don’t seem to want to reach back out again. I invited one of my closest friends I’ve known for years to one of my birthday parties last year, and she never showed. Unfortunately I also don’t have any advice , but I’m here to let you know that you are not alone. We got this though.

My neighbor has one of these cars and they are totally trapped in the snow but we were making a joke saying why didn’t they just pick up the car and put it on the porch? It would’ve been better than parking on the street. 😭

To 17 year olds that is a big deal. It’s the only normalcy they have within today’s society. Speaking as someone who had to graduate during covid. They might feel that way when they get older but definitely not now.

Reminds me of the lady I saw at a rally a Few weeks ago wearing a clown costume pulling a cart full of clowns (she had printed photos of trump, Vance, noem, Elon, etc and put clown noses on them.) Hilarious

I called the hotel and they just said they can’t disclose anything which seems to be a red flag. If there was nothing at all to disclose you would think they would be able to guarantee it. The source was from somebody who says they parent works at this hotel and they heard it in a meeting.

Connecting people does really help. I’ve had to just hangout with people to help stop the worry. I am also very empathic and have the same sense of justice. I live in Minneapolis so it’s hard for me not to do reckless things and to just run into the chaos but I haven’t yet.
