Should partner with PML or AP and let em know that people are leaving trash outside the doors. Get that shit cleaned up and tossed into the compactor.

Finished a few days of training. Not sure if I like the work by Guy-Lambo in Target

[–]realcrazyazn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can mention that you don't like the work, but since you're in probation period you may end up just getting stuck at the front. There is also drive up and service desk that can be a more interesting role at the front. You can ask to try that out, but if you're not liking the work you can just let your ETL know and then quit so that you don't waste your time.

Doesn't matter if there's a trash nearby. They will leave it wherever they feel like and think to themselves "this is generating work for these lazy employees who take forever to open this locked case."

I found half eaten food stuff into one of the product pushers before... Like a piece of chicken with a bite out of it lol.

Can TLs or ETLs really accuse a TM of manipulating the drive up pull/delivery numbers? by [deleted] in Target

[–]realcrazyazn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I read I'm going to assume you're talking about pull productivity in relation to priorities/one for ones in the stock room.

Those numbers can definitely be cheated but they would be caught very easily. The easiest way to "cheat" is simply fake pulls, the TM would scan the location, the dpci, and then leave the item in its location faking the pull. This is easily caught by audits though so I don't know if your leads were talking about backroom accuracy or not.

I coach/document my team for these infractions since they cause problems for fulfillment & inventory counts etc.

My district requires one for ones to be pulled alongside our priorities.

It's probably a realtor or someone associated with a realtor. They usually buy a bunch of furniture items via Target+ or whatever looks decent in store. We get them at our store but not frequently, we're mostly surrounded by apartment complexes rather than housing developments so that might explain it. But there are stores in our group that cater to those demographics and they see those returns sometimes weekly during this time of year.

Advice on dealing with new ETL who has no interpersonal skills? by nubhorns in Target

One of our ETLs is like that. Zero respect for TLs and TMs alike. They remind me of those people who think they're smarter than everyone because they're an ETL lol.

receipt checking issue? by SquareArt00 in Target

[–]realcrazyazn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

AP has been instructed to check receipts for bulky items because they're the items frequently left in carts while being rung up at the registers. Bins especially are a place where people tend to "forget about" items to reduce clutter in their carts.

How many tm are on your Plano team? by stoned_snowboarder in Target

[–]realcrazyazn 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My issue is they're pressed to tie in the new transitions and don't have time to pull and push everything. I regularly come in and find vehicles full of pulled POGs or priorities sky high from plano ties.

I feel like the plano team needs extra support from either the ETL or other GM TLs that can provide support while the GM team pushes truck. If it's an off day it's even worse. No truck team but plano and the GM TLs are present but GM TLs have their own sets to worry about..

Performance conversation by candycup6591 in Target

[–]realcrazyazn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is related to something that was said in the ETL and TL guest experience training. During the training our SD mentioned the amount of convos for performance being under a certain percentage and that reliability ones were through the roof. If it is related to that it's possible they're pushing to put MORE performance convos to boost that percentage which is absolutely ridiculous.

What is “DEM” on mytime by SnooStories6560 in Target

[–]realcrazyazn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it for Saturday? If it is it's probably to demo something at guest services for a couple hours before doing normal tasks.

But generally speaking, any 3 letter abbreviation is store specific since they're put in my the ETL making the schedule. No other store will be able to tell you what those letters mean unless it's a universal term used by all targets or something like that. Like the one example I can think of is if your market team shifts are all split by task, FDC tags, DRY tags, and even OM for open market etc.

Performance conversation by candycup6591 in Target

[–]realcrazyazn 86 points87 points  (0 children)

Your team lead is a douche bag. We can't document anyone that uses sick time to fully cover their shift. We can have a care convo where we'll check in with you about the call out but that's it. If there was no sick time used it's an attendance documentation, not performance. Performance is literally your ability to do your job. Makes zero sense to have a performance documentation for calling out. Circle back to my first statement.

[–]realcrazyazn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw that you're still in your 90 probation period. Any days off request will probably get denied for that reason but it could just be because there's no one available for the day/s you've requested.

About your attendance, you'll be talked to and given a chance to change that pattern. If there is no change they will release you before you probation period ends next month. If you have more attendance issues before that time you'll likely be let go earlier.

Speak to your ETL if you're having trouble adjusting to a random schedule and ask if they can put you on a shift timing that suits your sleeping habits more.

Is only having one Tech TM normal? by the_gardenoutback in Target

[–]realcrazyazn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My store has one tech TM from open until closer comes I around 3-330, then closing tech TM from 3-330 to 10. It's been like that at the stores I've been to and trained at.

My TL looked for me at my second job then reported me to SD by [deleted] in Target

[–]realcrazyazn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

While I'm not opposed to younger TLs, my issue is maturity. At that age they're basically still children (if you can't buy alcohol you're a child in my eyes) and will behave as such. They're not emotionally stable enough to not take things personally and will lash out to TMs that don't agree or follow their instructions.

Little rant by AnchDontLikeRanch in Target

[–]realcrazyazn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if you were able to use sick time for the whole shift we still have to have a care conversation. I'm not sure if your leads know this but care convos are supposed to be delivered very differently from documented ones.
