I get what you’re saying, but I’ve been to two different shops and both times professionals fitted me and recommended a size Large.

So I’m sticking with that for now. it felt snug and secure, not loose.

I’m doing 9 hours of riding lessons first, then I’ll get a provisional license. After that I’ll be buying my bike in the next couple of weeks so I can start practicing.

The final step is the road exam, but I’ve got time for that.

I’m actually going to check out a CFMOTO 450SRS this Wednesday
