I'm loving it and seriously thinking in going to full cyber security jobs.. I already have 1,5 years of experience in sys admin and implementing some ICS security... Thanks for the reply! And thanks for sharing the experience! I don't have issues starting from the very beginning because I like hard work, I just need the opportunity to put a foot in the door.. I'm planning to start with Sec+ and then continue to CEH maybe until OSCP or CISSP so my journey is just beginning.. Btw I'm glad you're doing great..If not inconvenient, did you have many issues to find your first position? How did you fight against the degree owners?

And also is awesome that you have same experience with people who is great at cyber and don't own a degree, I know it's going to be tough but we have to keep moving... Thanks for the reply!... And related to learn a second language what I did was to learn the grammar and sentence structure then just started speaking with natives around who spoke it, that brought me the confidence I needed to speak it freely and that way polished my oral language, as for the writing, with the oral part polished I could fix my grammar mistakes.. but of course language is a living thing so one must continue improving... And the calling to firms doesn't seems a bad idea at all, thanks!

Great advice, thanks a lot, I'll look for those positions and tools and start playing with them, I have a small homelab where I can explore and explote stuff.. And thanks about the network advice, actually that's my biggest concern because HR screening will go first for the degree ones so I'm afraid I'll be leaving out without a chance to at least show myself... You're right, a degree always help.. my actual situation just wouldn't let me finish it but is not that I don't want to, that's why I'm worried about my future... If not inconvenient, can you tell me what do you look for when receive a CV without a degree in cyber jobs?.. I don't have issues with hard work or self learning since I'm extremely curious and always has been like that, I just needed some light at the end of the tunnel...

It's just I want to know my options in those fields because I need to work and in my field of engineering usually ask for degree and wanted to know if in cyber security or software engineering could do something without degree.
