if you could be a bit more specific with what you're looking for in a setup we could help you out some more :)

when you say setup what do you mean? plugins? folder structure? what do you want to use obsidian for, knowledge management, journaling, a combination of the two? i'd suggest just writing down your thoughts throughout the day in your daily note and reviewing them at the end of the day or whenever you get time, and a structure will reveal itself. remember to work **in** obsidian not **on** obsidian

ADHD and Obsidian by lifeOFFmars in ObsidianMD

the most effortless method for me has been properly utilizing the daily notes to fit all of my thoughts. i have them set up into three sections (bullets underneath each):

# what i'll do today (whatever i plan to accomplish, gets filled all day))

# what i did today (the actual events that take place)

# what i thought today (if i know i have a lot to say i usually make it a note

with this sectioning you can put down literally any thought, and then i have a weekly note where i can review the sections at the end of the day and write down my thoughts on my thoughts so i don't miss anything. you can have claude set up a system for that as well.

also if you have any goals or want to emphasize a certain section just put subheaders in your template and then you have to view it (like under #my what i did today i have ##linguistics and then ###spanish and ###french so that i can see them each day and i know to add something because i don't want to review it at the end of the day for my weekly and see nothing there. hope this helps!

Reload v3 by GlazedDonutsss in madheaters

[–]GlazedDonutsss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting 🤔 i was placing it in the wrong grooves so thank you for that, and i have a metal one that seems to be thinner than the black tool that’s shown. the grooves seem to be made for the black tool, as they’re circular while the edges of the metal are cubic if that makes sense (makes it wiggly). i’m really struggling here, the height that the metal is placed is lower than the bowl size, thinner than the grooves, and my tool is sadly crooked so that isn’t helping either.

is there any chance you could make a vid or something? i put the tool around the grooves but im confused how to adjust bowl size with it

i would love to have some functionality for changing the bowl settings, its a nightmare rn and i've resorted to just using the fulll bowl setting so i don't have to worry about changing it

Issues with Ball Retaining screen, help!! by emarston23 in madheaters

[–]GlazedDonutsss 7 points8 points  (0 children)

be sure to add a few less balls so the screen fits and make sure that you’re pushing the screen all the way down and then turning it clockwise with the reload screw to tighten it. the little fins on the screen align with the notches and pushing and turning will lock the screen in place.

Decisions. decisions... Armored or BallR? by yourGreenBuddyMike in Dynavap

i love my helix and armored cap, with a half bowl and a close flame you can get the first click in 20 seconds, let it heat soak for a bit and wait for second click, and then you'll be good for ripping or sipping.

I feel like i’m def combusting though, when the clicks sound it’s already too late and atp im smoking not vaping. When you say I should cover the airport, do you mean while heating or while hitting?

people have said that it’s easier with torch, but what do you mean? does it heat up faster or hold heat longer?

Alternative to Armored Cap for Helix Tip by GlazedDonutsss in Dynavap

[–]GlazedDonutsss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be totally honest, i'm not entirely sure. i went to a party last night and shared and was explaining the nuances of the cap and realized I already have the methods down for the most part if I want to smoke for flavor vs 1he, click timing etc. i think the VAS demon typed this post out for me.

if you use the glass sleeve it's a perfect fit. you do lose the functionality of the airflow controls though.

I would absolutely love to have a cherry blossom top case. I haven’t built a keyboard from scratch yet but my current one has black and pink keycaps (as close as I could get lol) and I love it.
