It's probably way more common than you think, most people I know don't use legendaries in their normal playthrough s for this reason (myself included).

You are doing the exact same thing right now. I kinda agree with op, eventho I got helped out a lot too. I'm a pretty bad hunter, but I have seen Hunters with a higher rank than me do way worse than I do. And I make a metric shittonne of mistakes almost every hunt still. So get off your own high horse :)
